27/8/2019 10:43 | The political situation is now heading in the right direction, which gives new investors the confidence to come onboard. | bmnsa
27/8/2019 10:25 | Yes, decent buying again today. Looking more and more like the start of a new uptrend on the chart. Jim Mellon clearly very keen loading up so frequently recently, with his £1.25 million investment last month particularly telling. He is bullish gold and there is certainly a lot of upside to the CNR share price, especially in the current environment. --- "The boat is leaving and there is just enough time to jump on the gangplank The same applies to silver and, possibly, palladium, but gold is easier and there are lots of ways to play it, physical, futures, ETFs, and gold miners. Barrick (NYSE: GOLD) is good, as is mining minnow Condor Gold (LON: CNR) here in London, where I am a director and shareholder. So that’s a pretty easy trade – sell those bonds (especially given my forecast that disaster lurks under the surface of the frantic machinations of the ECB to avoid a full-blown crisis in Italy), and buy your own flavour of gold." | cf456
27/8/2019 10:16 | I'm a buyer Bought again last week after Jim M added to his pile. Happy days:) | bmnsa
27/8/2019 10:11 | Steady buying as good news approaches. Follow the money. | philjeans
24/8/2019 17:06 | Nicaraguan political turmoil plus distaste for risky non-producing assets in an uncertain Trump-buffeted macro environment? Probably more to it, can't say I'm up to speed. | zangdook
24/8/2019 11:06 | Good idea I don't know why I didn't think of that. There was me trying to avoid hours of trawling by asking those who know for a quick summary. What was I thinking.... | dexdringle
24/8/2019 10:57 | read the posts and RNS | rhuvaal2
24/8/2019 10:38 | Why were these 60p 18 months ago but only 23p now ? | dexdringle
23/8/2019 21:40 | 8% up in loonyville, someones watching Jim | edjge2
23/8/2019 14:44 | Agreed. Seems, given his wealth it seems very much like a signal to watchers that there is an opportunity here and it's worth getting on board. Multiple purchases by a director in a company is bound to attract attention. | cf456
23/8/2019 14:30 | Well on that occasion the '1' got it right, and yes Jim must be also sending a message in the only way he can, because with respect it's a small change buy for him and not the normal way he'd build a position I'm sure. | paleje
23/8/2019 10:53 | Jim Mellon buying yet again. Very keen. Is he trying to tell us something?! | cf456
22/8/2019 15:22 | Nice interview cf456, heard it before but no harm having a re-listen especially with JM adding in open market since. There's a '1' buy in today's trades btw, RNS lodged if we're to believe the gossip about market maker coded messages:) | paleje
22/8/2019 14:45 | "We've got a brilliant project, very high grade, highly economic. We've got an NPV...on four different scenarios the average NPV is about 190 million US compared with a market cap of say 22 or maybe after this 25 or 26 million US. So the price/book ratio is about 0.12, the ounces in the ground is about $9/ounce in the ground and this is almost at distressed levels. I think if offers investors at this point incredible value." - from 7:16 | cf456
20/8/2019 23:08 | Jim Mellon got his purse out here he's shrewd loading up on cheap gold. Very good value here | shanur90
20/8/2019 22:13 | COG Bid 35 cents offer 44 cents, volume 1000 shares only...... | royaloak
20/8/2019 20:16 | I think the train is just moving but may retrace to a more sensible level first. I see on canadian CNR is 20% down on tiny volume. Change always seems to happen in latter part of trading day. Boosting my silver and gold on demise of canopy. | edjge2
20/8/2019 15:02 | "I urge everyone to climb on board the gold train; last month I said it was leaving the station. If you run fast, you might just catch the last carriage. I am pretty sure we will see $1,800-$2,000 before this year ends, and see gold miners move much, much higher." | cf456
20/8/2019 10:13 | Philjeans Yes I am still in Polo and it is way undervalued with Hibiscus alone being a multiple of the current share price It is very frustrating that Mr Tang is taking no action to reduce the discount to NAV. It is often said that Tang bought Polo for its holding in GCM so it looks as if GCM needs to come good(which is looking more likely than it has done in years)if the value in Polo is to be released. | 888icb
20/8/2019 08:52 | Yep - a nod's as good as a wink. Miles to go here and patience wins the day. (88 - are you still in POLO? Thoughts? Still looks way, way undervalued.) | philjeans
20/8/2019 08:14 | He's certainly sending out a signal. Firstly buying a huge £1.25 million in the placing. Not often you see a director buying such a large chunk in the one go. And then subsequent purchases in the open market. | cf456
20/8/2019 07:55 | Jim Mellon buying more shares is a continuation of very positive news for Condor. | 888icb
20/8/2019 07:06 | Jim Mellon buying yet again: | cf456
20/8/2019 00:26 | Well it did stir some interest in Canada although the volume is very low. It rose 8.64% in Canada compared to 4.44% in the UK at 23.5p. However in Canada it closed at CAD 0.44 which converts to 27p. Let’s see if we can take their lead and get to 30p. We essentially need to 10 bag from today’s price to get somewhere near where we should be. Jim is a very shrewd investor who has been in Condor from the start and I think we should all see it as a very positive sign that he is now buying in the market following on from his recent large extra investment. His 15% gives him a big interest in this doing well. I have been in this at £2 and want to see it at that level again. | 888icb
19/8/2019 15:17 | Volume currently 860000 and Buys outnumber sells 3:1. It will be interesting to see if todays news stirs any interest in Canada when they open in an hour or two. | 888icb |
