16/8/2006 16:34 | Maybe a change of brokers and another effort is that what your suggesting topvest. | mujahid2
16/8/2006 15:44 | Andy- Aye! Broker went to the market for the price | mickey take
16/8/2006 14:42 | Mickey, On that basis the mid price being quoted is totally meaningless. | andy
16/8/2006 12:58 | The deal is totally off by the sound of things. A bit unlucky, but I remember thinking at the time that using VSA Resources as the broker didn't seem very sensible given the amounts involved. I still remember them messing up the OFEX listing of another Bruce Rowan company, which got delayed for 6m as a result. You need a Corporate Synergy or Seymour Pierce to raise this sort of cash, however good the deal. | topvest
16/8/2006 12:44 | that probably explains why the volume is zero, no one prepared to accept such low quotes. | gdennett
16/8/2006 12:42 | Just had two quotes to sell 1.25p and 2.25p!!! Will stick with it not worth the loss would...... rather live with the possible upside.....LOL | mickey take
16/8/2006 12:37 | yeah - i heard that too, but am not so sure to be honest.... | leesonlookalike
16/8/2006 12:12 | Im sure they can persuade them some how, at the end of the day cde will be in debt so i dont see the deal not going threw in better market conditions, all they got to do is make some terms and sign, poor management. I hear vog have taken the pechora deal... | mujahid2
16/8/2006 12:01 | Mujahid2, IMO, they cannot take the Macquarie loan until they have, 1) Completed the Pechora deal. 2) Achieved a certain production level. Otherwise they would not have bothered doing the placing at all, and would certainly have used the loan instead after the initial try at the placing failed, IMO. | andy
16/8/2006 11:46 | Does that mean they have completely left the pechora energy deal, and are looking else where or will they take the loan and make the deal? then then go for a placing on AIM. | mujahid2
16/8/2006 10:51 | So its been called off then e-trade have payed the money back into my account the news is on ofex website | moggey1970
16/8/2006 10:33 | Boite, Plusmarkets have a BID of 2.5p! 16/8/2006 10:33 | not even bothered to sell andy.... if they do pull a rabbit out of the hat the share price should bounce accordingly - will hold. but i also wouldnt be surprised if this goes down to .75 of a damn penny. lol :-) | leesonlookalike
16/8/2006 10:31 | Boite, I agree, and some here did warn at that time if I remember correctly. I am amazed the price has held so well, has anyone tried a quote to sell? | andy
16/8/2006 10:28 | Easy to be wise after the event but when they undertook the last placing at 2p against a share price of 9-11p the warning bells should have started to ring. Lets hope they find a replacement deal soon. | boite mobile
16/8/2006 09:53 | Curry, Oh dear, the price is holding up well in the circumstances, IMO. | andy
16/8/2006 09:50 | These shares are worth whatever cash is left, probably rather less given management have failed to deliver. At a guess 0.5p a share. | egoi
16/8/2006 09:49 | Concorde Oil and Gas plc - Acquisition Update 16 AUGUST 2006 Concorde Oil and Gas plc ("Concorde" or "the Company") Acquisition Update Due to continued adverse market conditions, it has not been possible to complete the acquisition of Pechora Energy within the modified timeframe. The Company is currently evaluating available options, and remains committed to continuing operations in the international hydrocarbons industry. A further release will be made in due course. | currypasty
16/8/2006 08:54 | agree topvest. I like/liked the mgmt here but they're turning out to be a slightly bit on the crud side. :-) imHo Lee$on | leesonlookalike
16/8/2006 07:25 | Hmm doesn't bode well does it! Feel a bit sorry for them here, but they should have used a broker capable of raising £25m. That was their major mistake in my opinion. | topvest
15/8/2006 22:12 | Topvest, Yes I think you're right, a modest 30,000 sale today pushed the bid down to 3.60p. 14/08/2006 10:08:26 3.60 30,000 0 1,080.00 | andy
15/8/2006 20:37 | I must admit that I am surprised that there is still no news one way or the other. You would have thought that the shares would be suspended in such a situation. I suspect they would be if the share price moved significantly. | topvest
15/8/2006 16:08 | getting to that time............... I think the best people can hope for is another extension while attempts continue to cobble a face saving deal. Good luck holders! I also think if there is nothing by market open, to protect holders from panic selling, (or indeed some 'other' sellers), the shares should be suspended until there is news - be it ultimately good or bad. | egoi
15/8/2006 08:55 | Last three bits of bad news have been released at 15:12 16:46 and 16:17. My money is on one the middle one this afternoon if the project is down the pan. Incidentally if it fails my guess is the shares will drift back to about 1p (or lower), which would be about fair value, become totally forgotten about by even ofex investors and make vague noises once in a while about AIM and 'new targets' to try and keep investors happy. Of course it might - yet - succeed! | egoi
14/8/2006 17:32 | well thats poor management no news today... | mujahid2 |
