09/4/2006 14:37 | Looks as if they have got a good price for the travel-services business. BBC & Bloomberg reporting £1.82 billion ($3.2 billion) which is quite a bit higher than expected. | mbaxter

07/4/2006 12:33 | If I was going to have a stop loss I would want it below 227 as this has been broken a few times intraday recently. I would set it at around 225. | dhb368

06/4/2006 06:49 | Recent price and volume action suggests the uptrend, while struggling somewhat, remains in tact - HH,HL etc. Ideally the trend higher needs to resume today or tomorrow - latest Tues/Wed next, staying above 224 on a close basis at all times. The decline is of normal magnitude. Its severity most probably relates to the resistence it encountered and the vibration this has with the final low and the breaking of the 5 year BEAR trend line. Now there are signs the CT is struggling to go down further. The tails after 4 days on the side suggest quiet accumluation and if 230.25 followed by 232.75 is taken out on a close basis, the probabilities suggest a test of 251 with a higher low being in place. HOWEVER, 210 remains the key level to watch for a resulmption of the long term bear. | traderob

24/3/2006 09:30 | Its hardly likely imo anyone would bid now. Any interested parties would surely have done that six months ago.Not wait until a new competent CEO is appointed and the share has recovered 30%. | broadwood
24/3/2006 09:11 | There has been a lot of stake building by the big banks / brandes etc. Looks like they are going to make a killing! Me too! I think that as the price moves over 250 the chance of a buyout diminishes, but who cares. ;-) | dhb368
24/3/2006 09:07 | Looks to me relief that Bailey's out the door and a new Chief Exec can get to grips with the problems that have dogged the shares these past two years. | broadwood
24/3/2006 08:28 | I'm beginning to think there is some credibility in the rise, though I have no idea what rumours are circulating. Are there good contracts in the offing? Have the UN been satisfied by the action taken against personnel infringing bidding rules? Is a private equity group scenting a bargain? | gulliverr
24/3/2006 08:04 | Cousins a top CEO in the making.. | halogen
