It'd be interesting to see if they RNS the closing of the OO and report/reconfirm total number of shares in issue. If so, I would prefer a brief operational update, else peeps may sell for lack of REAL news. I'd be happy even if they were a bit more committal re when the update can be expected, rather than a loose 'by the end of the year' comment. Don't see an issue long term, but would like to see the share price consolidate....or even start creeping up!

Jaffa,

A wise move, you should be another step closer to your breakeven on the next update. Gonna be lots of workover wells in there at this rate. LK still talking about maintaining momentum and he got off to a stormer at the AGM with the first well results. If he maintains similar momentum and includes the early stage production increases from the water flood its gonna be an explosive update and may exceed the current targets somewhat. ;)

Ed.

I'll be buying with my leftover £'s from OO to average down from my present 36p from LGO days. At least I have more confidence now that CERP will come good for me in the end. Happy days - I hope.

wow that WTI price is the cherry on the cake here when it comes to our growing production and "momentum". When we were at $40, $50/bbl looked years away now we're stones throw from $60/bbl.

Ed.

Nexus,

LGO. Poor decision-making and an element of poor leadership. Yes IMO.

Sweet dreams all CERP holders. We are on a winner big time. What a hoot..............

7/8 Nov will be very interesting re the OO and excess shares PI get!

ATB,
GD

EDited. I am so glad I hold a fair amount of CERP............

Agree wholeheartedly with above. Any loss of sleep down to purely excited anticipation of an investment paying off big time in a relatively short time frame. Unique to me!

Of the view that we could soon see a RNS re BOLT deal finalisation, or approved PMLs in SWP, or even possible early M&A action ..... can't imagine GS is/has been in Trinidad for a holiday.

What an incredibly fast-moving, exciting company CERP is proving and how cheap the current price will appear come end of year.

At the moment, this is the best share I have ever held. Almost 100% certainty that the growth will be greater than forecast BUT very little risk - if any.

When I have lost money in the past, it has always been when the anticipated output from a newly drilled well has not been achieved for technical or geological reasons. It's like that with EME and the Dempsey 1 well at the moment. The majority of us are confident that it will be a big producer but if it isn't, then it's back to accepting the hit or being locked in until the next project helps the price to recover.

In my opinion, the present programme of production enhancements being undertaken by CERP has three probable outcomes:

1. End of year production increased to targets mentioned at the AGM.

2. Production increased to meet company internal targets which I believe will have been considerably higher than those promised to shareholders.

3. The additional funding and increase in poo has resulted in accelerated work which has resulted in the internal targets being smashed significantly.

No downside, just different levels of success.

We've been held back by the open offer but once everyone has their shares and the initial volatilty is over, then I think that we will be back to a slow steady climb in share price Obviously, any news in the meantime will also create the odd spike.

I love CERP. Good luck to all.

EDIT. The other point that makes CERP different to the norm is that Leo is seeking to make the company self financing by the end of the calendar year. How many oilers have you been in where the company has continually raised cash to finance exploration and even when it has been successful in terms of production, a post tax profit has never been realised?

That is what makes CERP board different. It demonstrates their financial awareness. Profit making does not come from simply drilling more and more wells, as demonstrated by the previous board.

RE: Stabilised Flow Rates
Lanygeo and Legalese - If the compromise figure 900/1000bopd is correct, what is the forecast share price for Christmas? I believe bigdouble was forecasting 10p. What do you reckon as well Dazbrad? My forecast based on these figures would be 12p.

I'm pleased that 12bn is heeding his own advice and thinking about the value of his contribution to this board - it wasn't much bearing in mind he boasted about his lack of research, repeatedly made serious factual errors and advised readers to sell some weeks ago when the share price was in the low 2p area for which no offer of compensation has been made on here or even a hint of apology - not even one of those new style ones where it's suggested that what was done was almost ok at the time because it was thought different standards applied!

This is my attempt to participate in fireworks whilst being considerate to animals!

I think you will find most people here have been in LGO
My price before LK took over was 79p
I have averaged down quite a bit since then

Mr Pasty,

My apologies for telling you to be patient, it is not my place to tell any poster that. Though I admit I have done that many times over the years!

I had no idea you are in LGO.

Have a good weekend,
GD
