Hi John,

Was thinking about what you said and also the link re shale in the US. Tomorrow we should all hear the agreements on the % reductions in output and if original expectations are agreed of 1.3mil reduction then the market should react quite quickly, even with all the stuff going on with brexit. And if BMJ is right and an announcement is forthcoming for CERP then the timing could be really beneficial to CERP. The shale supply is in its very early days (globally) and I would be really surprised if restrictions (or control "in terminology") were not enforced on the industry globally, so although the US are marching ahead I'm sure they will be limited in their points of sale if they reduce prices to a dangerous level so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

It is all very speculative but hey, Oil has always been that way... :)

Thanks for that post and link on the US shale, I wasn't aware of how prominent it was and now your previous posts make much more sense re the shale.

He has been vocal about accumulating for a week or so.. he may have been accumulating possibly over weeks? 9% is my guess..

Good evening H van der h,Yes, this was something I thought about and mentioned through the day on here and the trolls thread on lse, Seemed to be the most likely candidate would be TR1 as couldn't see how he could be privy to anything else. The other ideas thrown out there were just pie in sky really. Thanks H seems most likely . Strange though as you rightly said TR1 needed more and I didn't see any coming through last couple days even if delayed trades they hadn't shown after hours . Tomorrow we will see

TR-1 is the only knowledge he could be privy to... based on previous he needed to buy another 4,520,636.29 to cross the 9% threshold or 12,829,449 more for the 10% threshold if that is his target holding %

No Mike pretty sure it's not that . We already had one of these.I'm exactly same as you I hate the bloody things, nothing but bad experiences from those. Don't worry though it isn't that. Finally though a bit of news coming tomorrow according to Big M so let's hope it's good.Maybe M&A?

I hope my biggest fears are not met tomorrow, share consolidation! Tend to see these happen when the prices are really low, through my experiences. Not always the case but raises the value and gives further options in future to release more shares and dilute again.

I really hope it's not that!!....

Won't sleep now and I'll be ready to hit that button first thing in the morning if it is what's happening..

Hi NexusSurely though if they cut output boosting prices then Us shale will just crank up ? Then Saudi Russia etc cut again giving the Donald more and more market share ? Saudi and Russia need higher prices but each time shale will drive it lower will it not.

Won't find out about the Oil reductions until tomorrow now. But it is reported that they have agreed to cut, just haven't decided how much and where!

“I don’t need approval from any foreign state when it comes to the issue of energy production,” the top official said as quoted by RIA Novosti.

Members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), as well as the cartel’s allies, are meeting at OPEC’s headquarters in Vienna on Thursday. The 15-member organization and non-OPEC partners, including Russia, will reportedly negotiate steep output reductions which could start in January.

The measure is aimed at controlling global oil prices that have seen a dramatic crash of more than 30 percent over the last two months, placing the budgets of oil-exporting nations under considerable pressure.

SmoggyG - Lind loan you refer to has not been drawn down - option to draw expires in January 2019 - looks like you will have to look elsewhere for speculation about identity of seller.

Re your comments on deep drilling I applaud your enthusiasm but LK plan is to achieve that objective by a more circuitous route which reduces the risk to the company. The plan is shallower drills to start, achieve extra production then extend well depth for the big one!

Hope you liked the Predator rns today - I like that project - no CapEx for CERP but 50% share of profit, after costs. If it goes very well PRD may buy out CERP for $4.2 million. It is early days so I don't want you too excited about this but I know you like to be kept informed as you clearly don't spend much time researching CERP these days.

Re the above - hopefully it's not about Spain as per their previous RNS "The Company will consider its options with respect to the Government's decision." The sooner we put Spain behind us the better imo.
