Have a strong feeling we might get an RNS in the morning, not sharing inside info before the board goes mad & not saying it will be the RNS everyone is waiting for or expecting

RNS from Predator this morning

"Highlights

-- Operational planning for C02 EOR at the Innis Trinity Field in Trinidad progressing well.
-- Expected initial oil production rate in first half of 2019 in the range of 318 to 392 bopd.....

....Onshore Trinidad - Inniss-Trinity oil field

Operational planning for the commencement of Enhanced Oil recovery operations using injected carbon dioxide ("C02 EOR") is progressing well with the delivery of the selected C02 injection pumps from the United States supplier being scheduled for January 2019.

Scoping reservoir engineering studies have been completed, based on which surface facilities have been designed for an initial oil production rate in the range of 318 to 392 bopd.

Combined existing production rate pre-C02 injection from the wells which are being included in the Pilot C02 EOR project is 45 bopd and therefore the target in the minimum case is a six-fold increase in incremental oil production ("Enhanced Oil Production") compared to existing production levels. Enhanced Oil Production will be the Company's share of future production."

Think what we really need now LK and team have laid the groundwork and sorted out the legacy mess is now to really progress with news and increased bopd to achieve higher support levels increase MC attract new ii's improve sentiment . When you look back at reports expectations analysts and pi's we all thought inc LK that we would be far in excess of where we are now but instead w heaven been smashed. This really has to be the bottom now surely ..? I do think we will head north fromHere.

I am not totally negative on Cerps LONG TERM future. IF they can get a JV deal and drill to the Hererra sandstone level at 12000 ft in the SWP then they have a CHANCE of hitting mega amounts of oil. THE API of the oil is such that it is obvious that the oil has migrated from some source reservoir deep under Trinidad/Venezuela. Lenigas referred to this reservoir as the 800 lb 'gorilla' and NR always said he wanted to drill to it,as far back as 2011! It does look like the SWP will be drilled but maybe not until 2020 and even then it may just be a shallow drill. The trouble is a deep drill is too expensive and the only time it was attempted the drill bit was lost and the attempt was abandoned. Maybe LK can reach break even without a big find by raising cash and buying in production but that plan involves a lot of dilution for existing holders imo.

Company Loans

The Company reported in its Business, Financial and Operational Update (Q3 2018) on 10 October 2018, that Columbus planned to drawdown US$1.25 million from the 2018 Lind Loan, announced on 13 July 2018 alongside the announcement of the Steeldrum acquisition, to repay a US$1.25 million loan which Steeldrum holds with North Energy Capital AS ("North Energy and "North Energy Loan"). The planned drawn-down under the 2018 Lind Facility, which was specifically envisaged within the 2018 Lind Facility when it was established, would require repayments to Lind by the Company over a two-year period at approximately US$62,750 per month.////// Has this loan been drawn on? If it has then could the seller be Lind if it is issued with shares instead of cash. (Before anyone says that shares will be issued at 8.1p,they won't if it is Cerp who elects to repay in shares and not Lind, they will be at market prices).

TG Can see your point mate when you say it like that RE buying before news then dumping after. It does seem inevitable, at least so far that we have seen huge selling after news. The next update really is pivotal in which direction we are heading until SWP drilling . We really need the underpromise over deliver from Leo to come to fruition to delivery new supporting highs even with the mass sellers.

TG

A common mistake made on AIM is the silent approach. There are other companies that bombard the market with RNS which also is off putting. Monthly updates work best IMO.

Panda, you're wrong, and if you read my post you will see I said and even if it is a temp. I can tell you for a fact that you can get a good Marketing Manager for that as my company took one on 6 months ago for that money "as a temp"...

topmoronmike,I started buying LGO years ago,I held and added as the share price rose from 0.4p to over 6p but I missed the top and sold at 3p, equivalent to 60p today,I made £60k on lgo. You on the other hand bought in here and topped up at prices far higher than this price today, you are as clueless as arry. Arry MRS needs news like every share does and it will get good news soon as the results are out this month. You should buy some for the bounce,2p a share earnings is a lot on a 6p share.

Definitely Pete , it's volume that will drive this north as well as news. Sometimes volume happens before news just on sentiment but we needs both here .

Hi Hilly Yes I agree as I stated recently too some may look back and say "damn" wish I bought more lower down , but then there will be some safer ones who don't mind buying on the way up when they have the news they want, different types of investors.Saying that though I'm a fill ya boots type and have been doing that all the way down to 3.28 averaging down as much as possible from my disastrous losses of old.

Morning Hilly, Good post backs up my earlier thoughts too, and about the traders .Yes he wants higher share price too as he is aligned being paid in shares. The sellers has decimated the share price imho Once they gone ( although I need to see more time and large buys to prove that they have ) then share price will motor northward back to 4.8/5.8 range until further positive news.

... Leo, if your reading this, please spend £22k on a marketing manager ?

on that money they would probably be as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

SmoggyG - as I've said before I wish you good luck with MRS but couldn't help noticing it was down more than 3% today whereas ' poor CERP ' was down less than one per cent despite your assertion we are running out of buyers - presumably MRS has stacks of buyers but they were just a little shy today! Better luck for you tomorrow!

Don't worry Array,

The Muppet bought on "old money" probably staters, he seems to be old enough, but probably fake staters!!! So he'll probably also try and sell his second wife, haha, haha, haha, in order to try and recoup some change!!

Good luck to the Muppet...

Personally I don't think the seller has gone yet. The 250000 buy today tells me not. To me that's a line up to meet another large sell order. I hope I am wrong and you are right hilly..

Offerman, I think that the Q&A section on the website is an important tool for investors, but as I see it, we've got to trust LK and his team that they know what they're doing, and you'd like to think that the timing of newsflow is being strategically coordinated (within the statutory requirements) to create maximum impact.

I'm just pleased to see that our persistent seller seems to gone away or stopped. Obviously we might get a blockbuster update out the blue when we least expect it, but arguably the sign that a reversal in the share price fortunes is imminent will be a gradual increase in volume.

DYOR and all that, but I'm optimistic that our patience *will* be rewarded soon, and that we'll all be wishing we'd filled our boots more (or had the means to do so). I've been holding my shares nice and tight, but I'd dearly love to see the fruits of this decision shortly!

Hi john,

Thanks for the reply and evening too :)

Nope, that wouldn't really help anyone, I could call in the office or broker and ask for info if I was starting to question my investment, but that's not the point. Shares hold their level generally with good communications but without that they always drop as people just don't know.

I'm not going to preach to you about how the market works, as you already know, but if the market doesn't have good news flow, in my experience the MM's move onto other shares "or give less attention" to those that have less news flow as they need to pay their mortgages the same as every one else and they make their money normally on volumes.

Any good company should have "presence" as this is your brand and your public commitment of your believes and intentions, and I know CERP have a company value statement but unless you keep a good news flow these things become trivial and to be blunt, pointless.

Regular news flow says "hey we're here, and we're doing x" rather than ..........................................................................

And again, as the others have said, they really are getting a tad annoyed for no info. My analysis of this concern is that, if the share price was going up, no one would really care, but it's not so they do and they want something doing about it, assuming news flow will either stabilise or raise the share price (which I agree is more likely than not).

Hope that makes sense?

And don't forget, if you want a bottle of the best Brandy from PC, let me know before next week so that I can pick one up for you while I'm out there.

Evening all. I'm as impatient as the next person to see the share price reverse its trend and start to reflect the strength of the company and the obvious transformation from its previous incarnation.

LK will obviously be keen to see any upward share price movement sustained, and it seems the plan has been to convert the company from being a traders' share (with all the volatility that this brings) to a genuine investors' share that delivers lasting increases in the share price The move made to increase II support (does it get better than Schroeders investing?) is most welcome to ensure that the shares find 'sticky hands', and possibly the apparent lack of newsflow in recent months is designed to cause the traders to move on and look elsewhere...?

As I say though, I'm keen to see the share price start to make moves north - let's hope the next update, which is likely to be the catalyst for this, is not too far away (before the EOY would be nice!) and shareholders will soon be rewarded for their patience.

Good evening Mike But to be fair they do a questions and answers page on their website so they aren't completely ignoring us putting us in the dark.Personally Mike I would rather not see them spend £22k p.a on that . I think what maybe they could do to please all at minimal cost is maybe to update the Q&A more regularly on the website . Just out of interest, would that please people more of they did this ? Would his help alleviate any worries?

Hi John, Carp and TG,

I couldn't agree with you all more, and it's so frustrating not to have regular updates and to be honest John I would rather have those updates about moving a tree rather than nothing as for all I know, everyone else in the co is laying on a beach somewhere laughing while spending my share value away. And again my experience is that active reporting "even if it's small info" confirms the co value its share holders. All the shares I have ever had that have done well have all had good news flow.

Leo, if your reading this, please spend £22k on a marketing manager "even if it's a part time marketing manager" and start getting some updates out to the market and your valued shareholders as the lack of communication IS really poor.

Can see your arguments about lack of updates . But then look at the old company , so many ( too many updates, RNS we just moved a tree etc etc) So lots of updates would have only encouraged traders like days of old. Leo did say he wanted to knock them on the head ( not exact words but not far off ). Maybe this is his way of doing it. Next update is crucial imho to see the start of the much talked about transformation in the road map from before .
