[famous last words...]

i'm going to suggest blue day tomorrow as the buyers from 2.40pm to the finish had to pay full offer [or very close to it, 1.9], even as the bid was dropping....

thought the same for a moment, but don't these warrants have a strike price of 2p, still the share price is down nearly 10% today - can only be other sellers I would think, let's hope tomorrow will be better.

warrants exercised into clarke results?

It would be great to get some good news or a drill programme soon. The whole time I've owned these shares the price has been going down. Why was there no upside from the good results at Clarke? Makes no sense to me.

No, I'm watching for now. But if it's a consolation I've watched from the sidelines as a lot of gold miners soar - doh

Here's the link

Only NSW and VIC are medium risk; SA is very low risk

hi spangle
i put in the full paragraphs as drilling team may have family all over oz, offering a conservative position, rather than 'drilling team all set to go' [until we hear otherwise]

....but further to your post - 'The WA government defines South Australia as a medium-risk environment and will not accept travellers from that state unless they fit certain criteria.' [that bit is relevant]

are you in or watching?

--
fairview, lse: 'Can't believe this is still falling even at such a lowly market cap. This is either the most undervalued gold stock on the market or it's a complete dud. Which is it?'

Not sure of the relevance of restriction on NSW travellers to a company based in WA, and drilling in South Australia using a rig company based in WA?

WA no longer has quarantine requirements for very low risk states, which at present is the level of SA

will cobr talk to the market next week? i'll be surprised if they don't. key people will have had time to have a break and allow for 14 day state border isolation

tell the market what you're drilling next, unleash the auger and the rc!

'South Australia travel restrictions (updated)
Any traveller who has been in the Northern Beaches local government area will not be permitted to enter South Australia. Arrivals from Greater Sydney will be placed in hotel quarantine. All travellers coming to South Australia are also required to complete a Cross-Border Travel Registration.'

'Western Australia travel restrictions (updated)
Western Australia now requires all NSW residents to self-isolate for 14 days, not just residents from Sydney. The WA government defines South Australia as a medium-risk environment and will not accept travellers from that state unless they fit certain criteria. Travel within Western Australia is unrestricted, with people currently encouraged to 'Wander out Yonder' to regional communities and help the economy. However, remote Aboriginal communities remain off-limits to travellers within Western Australia.

Yes and there are still 50% of further results due, some more reverse and diamond drilling. Would be great if there are some further unreleased assay results from Clarke too, not sure all of those have been tested just yet.

Along with Barns and White Tank (also unreleased), let's hope it all adds up to something decent.

We know what is happening. They are waiting for assay results from Barns and they are formalising the work programme for 2021. I'm sure we will get details very soon.

Things sure are quiet around here. If only COBR got some attention the way other gold stocks have. There's a load of potential here but as far as the market is concerned they barely exist.

i'd like to see something close to the following kick off next week,

1a. drilling restarts at clarke [3 holes], before laker
1b. auger drill at larwood [150 holes at 1m], followed by rc rig after laker
1c. soil sampling at iocg targets + mag surveys [drone/helicopter]
2. drill results at barns/white tank
3. cobra-andromeda announce formal jv for wudinna, initially at 50:50
4a. early feb, result of 1st and 2nd new clarke holes
4b. mid feb, result of 3rd clarke hole +any for laker +any auger results for larwood
5. more drilling at barns/white tank or clarke, whichever is more exciting
6. mid-late feb, revised mineral est. update [baggy green, barns/white tank, clarke]
7a. march, soil sample results over iocg targets
7b. march, reporting of iocgs' mag survey followed by auger or rc drill as appropriate
8. march-june, more drill results from various project sites [takes total to 10,000m]
9. negotiate further drilling agreement with hagstrom
10. late june, another revised mineral estimate update and new company presentation

i repeat,
got money
got targets
got permits
got drill contractor
got samples in lab
got upside potential...

They can move straight on to drilling Clarke and maybe a couple of other targets (an IOCG maybe). Already have a drill agreement with Hagstrom and already have permission to drill so it's full steam ahead once the board agree on priorities.

cobr gets a small mention...

...but only as geology charlie's proposition for next big find for 2021
[does sound like this got recorded before 24th!]

i would add going into 2021:
got money
got targets
got permits
got drill contractor
got samples in lab
got upside potential...

before heading to laker and larwood, 3 more holes at clarke would be interesting: 60m north, 60m west and 85m northwest of drill CBRC009* -[3 further holes for approx total 420m]

[*31m at 3.06 g/t from 69m incl. 4m at 3.18 g/t, 1m at 1.21 g/t and 15m at 5.25 g/t, there's also 1m at 17.55g/t in the results table for this hole, courtesy of andromeda]

Agree and it seems Baggy Green doesn't necessarily have to be over just yet, looks like there are two new follow ups but those obviously have to be drilled and presumably can be included when they start another round of drilling - hopefully soon once all results are in.

Worth noting the stock is materially oversold with the RSI at a 9 month low, the last time it hit this level the shares responded with a 350% up move.

the board meet any day now to decide the drill plan for the new year, [recent interview, 'meeting before year end']

january:
-barns/white tank results
-decision from andromeda on progressing wuddina at 50:50 or 35:65
-forward drill plan and commencement

No brainer for upside, who will sell at current levels? No-one, read below for explanation.

The fairly recent £1.5m note fund raise was priced to convert at 2.3p a share with warrants attached at 3p conversion. No sellers there.

Prior to that recent warrant conversions were priced at 2p, add to that the share price has been averaged 2.5p over the last 6 months, so most 6 month holders need above 2.5p to profit.

To conclude the only sellers will be ones prepared to take a loss on their investment, most need the share price above 2.5p to balance and above 2.5p to profit.

When the market opens Tuesday fill your boots sub 2.3p IMO.

its worth noting that when the mineral resource estimate was determined for barns there were historic drill holes left out because they were too widely spaced. a bonus for cobra is that an infill hole and the historic hole beyond will add to the revised estimate.

as an aside,
-there is a hole 600-700m out west which is 7m at 2.23g/t au from 52m ['barns west']
-there is a hole 400-500m s-sw which is 8m at 1.81g/t from 82m ['barns south']

i presume on this basis that the barns resource is said to be open to south west [also down dip]

[see: 'Maiden 107,000 ounce gold resource estimated for Barns deposit' on andromeda website, but delivered to asx by adelaide resources, 19jul2016]
