14/6/2013 13:50 | i agree with duke...purely coincidence. charts offer support, resistance and trend identification. they are not blueprints for a stocks performance....other | douglasallen
14/6/2013 13:12 | Melf, this is purely coincidence surely. Not even a divine chartist could have seen this form repeat itself a year on! All shorts should be covered by now as the NCIB comes in force as from today which should make this less "tradeable" and the share price less volatile perhaps. | dukedosh
13/6/2013 14:09 | Dukey, I'm not big on charts normally but it is interesting to see what happened to this share around this time last year when it dropped below a tenner. Maybe the adage for CEO should be buy in May! | melf
13/6/2013 09:03 | Where have you been? CEO have been on a wobble since mid Feb. | dukedosh
13/6/2013 07:33 | I'll buy more below 900p - come on CEO, have a wobble this June/July. | pro_s2009
12/6/2013 11:41 | TGG, Many thanks. By then (August), we should have a lot of oil behind pipe for another production ramp up and a good run up to year end. | dukedosh
12/6/2013 10:25 | there is trade for 5000 at 699.06 just shown on trades | jaws6
12/6/2013 10:20 | duke, August/September looks more likely? hxxp://www.rigzone.c | thegreatgeraldo
12/6/2013 10:14 | Did try to buy at limit price and can not get more then small in morning . | jaws6
12/6/2013 10:09 | TGG, IIRC the MOPU was scheduled to arrive at KBM in June, no? I don't remember hearing about any delay regarding this but I could have missed it. | dukedosh
12/6/2013 10:01 | duke, I think the MOPU for KBM won't be ready for a few months yet, although there's nothing to stop them drilling wells before it arrives. | thegreatgeraldo
12/6/2013 09:59 | So the RSN today @ 09:08 says buy back initiated. Price has moved up 60p already. | painter
12/6/2013 09:41 | TGG, Going for 56mmboe at BBS so you're not alone looking forward to those drills. Just hope they throw us some news snippets about the play occasionally. These BBM fracs are looking of greater importance now if we are going to get close to guidance (33,000 boepd ave), so again let's hope we get news about them over the coming weeks. We should also get imminent news about the MOPU arriving at KBM shortly, if that operation is going to schedule. The share price was looking desperate so I'm not surprised to see the buy back in place again. Great upside potential here for the rest of the year so I hope our Investor Relations maximises this for the benefit if ALL shareholders (as opposed to the select few currently). | dukedosh
11/6/2013 22:27 | Just stay patient with these will start climbing 4th quarter still got my £20 target with these minumum | ricky46
11/6/2013 22:12 | We will! ;-#)) The "news" looks set for Q4, when they focus on explo drilling, although I'm still looking forward to drilling at BB South. | thegreatgeraldo
11/6/2013 22:03 | We'll see. | dukedosh
11/6/2013 21:57 | dukedosh 11 Jun'13 - 21:47 - 768 of 768 So, plenty of news to report from the "substantial 2013 drilling program", if the company cares to announce it. ....The company will announce news as it arrives, as they've done previously this year & in earlier years. As I pointed out in my last post, after G5/50 there's not much news for a few months - the rigs are scheduled to start drilling dev wells in Malaysia & STs at BB Main. | thegreatgeraldo
11/6/2013 21:26 | It would be interesting to know if there's any significant short interest in the stock. Also, if G5/50 comes in dry there's not too much on the "news" front for a few months, so they may be able to snaffle a fair bit more stock than they did last year. | thegreatgeraldo
11/6/2013 21:10 | HOUSTON, June 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coastal Energy Company (the "Company" or "Coastal") (TSX:CEN) (AIM:CEO) advises that the TSX ("TSX") has accepted Coastal's Notice of Intention to make a Normal Course Issuer Bid to purchase some of its common shares through the facilities of the TSX and through other Canadian market places. 11/6/2013 21:08 | This latest news may help to support the price a bit.... Coastal Energy Announces Initiation of Normal Course Issuer Bid Nice and cheap though if you are a buyer today! | ryandj2222
