05/6/2013 20:20 | I don't want to ask management about the share price. What I want to know is their drilling and production plans/expectations. Get those right and the share price will look after itself. If it doesn't, then the company will eventually get taken out. | marben100
05/6/2013 11:03 | The company probably aren't that bothered about the share price They do not need to raise funds, they are immune to a takeover unless the major shareholders agree to it. They are self funding and interested in growing the company. That's the nature of the beast, we small investors are along for the ride but we don't get any say in what happens. The weakness is common in the oil patch in Canada at this time of year. It affects most companies. I've been invested over there for several years now and it happens most years. Stick with it CEO/CEN will come good. | sg31
05/6/2013 10:45 | This share despite all its prospects and having turned down a bid last year seems to be relentlessly tracking down in recent weeks. I am being patient but it is getting a bit wearing. Maybe those of you fortunate to be able to attend the agm can ask management their plan to get share price moving in the right direction once again. Can't believe we are close to £10 again | davr0s

04/6/2013 08:25 | Mark, I figured luton would be a no go - that seems just about do'able - earliest BA flight to heathrow gets in at 835 - all seems very tight :(Many thanks. | stansmith3
04/6/2013 08:05 | Hi Stansmith3, I live near Luton, so can advise on the latter option. Assuming you can get to Luton Airport Parkway station (via shuttle bus) by 08:45, there's an 08:50 train that gets to St Pancras at 09:22, from there by tube you should reach Coastal's offices in good time for the meeting. There are subsequent trains at 08:56 and 09:06 - but they'd leave timing a little tight. Cheers, Mark | marben100
04/6/2013 06:11 | tgg,I was actually a little surprised not to hear back from you tbh, but thanks for clearing that up. I thought it better to do it off board rather than clutter the boards up. It worked well as you can see.I'll call td today, sit on their phone system forever and see what they can come up with.Anyone,Seeing as I'm hogging the board...of two flight options at the moment...one arrives at Stanstead at 8am and one into Luton at 8:15, does this leave enough time to get to the agm a little early?thanks again | stansmith3
03/6/2013 23:59 | Hi Stan, I did reply to your email - there seems to be a problem with the hotmail a/c you used? I also sent you a reply via TMF. I'd agree with marben100's comments. | thegreatgeraldo
03/6/2013 22:24 | Thanks, Mark. | stansmith3
03/6/2013 22:15 | Hi stansmith3, Having attended the last two AGMs, IME they're pretty relaxed about admittance - but, obviously, I can take no responsibility for your flights/costs! Hope to see you there. Cheers, Mark | marben100
03/6/2013 21:55 | I'd like to go to the AGM, have emailed them to see if they will accept anything else other than confirmation from broker/registrar. I don't fancy spending cash on flights and taking a day off work only to be turned away at the door! Anyone here ever got a reply from investor relations? | stansmith3
31/5/2013 21:27 | I've put that link in the header for easy future reference. So we're valued at $26 by 2012 numbers and currently trading at a 40% discount to that with nothing in the share price or NAV for this year's programme AT ALL. Did I say double bagger (post 746)? Make that treble bagger! This is a quality stock with a quality story going forward. No serious value investor would want to be out of this for too long. Some serious reading to do. Good weekend all. PS anyone here considering going to the AGM? | dukedosh
31/5/2013 18:43 | Just noticed that over on IV jwallisca has posted a link to the company's reserve report as at end 2012. http://www.coastalen Just the 200 pages to work through, I'm sure you'll all spend a few hours on it over the weekend - I'll be back on monday with a few questions to test you ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo

30/5/2013 22:02 | Ok thanks. That explains the header but go figure today's CEN session on the TSX. This surely has to be the bottom of this trading range - a double bagger from here on NAV alone and get the future E&D for free! | dukedosh
30/5/2013 08:20 | Oh and Advfn does at least do real-time graphs on almost every stock/bond out there unlike many of the others which is pretty good. | loglorry1
30/5/2013 08:19 | Duno - I kind of like the fast and loose unmoderated style of Advfn. Mostly a load of old nonsense but you do get the occasional gem. S'pedia is ok but not much content on there. Think they all have their place to be honest and I find twitter quite fun and useful too. Not often a decent link posted on Advfn and if there was I'm sure I could manage a copy and paste. They are just trying to avoid SEO value seep from spam posters that's all. Log | loglorry1
29/5/2013 21:48 | It seems that ADVFN are wrecking their site by only allowing paying subscribers to post with HTML. We could move en masse to S'pedia if they make life impossible here. Much better posting facilities there and no discrimination against non-subscribers. | marben100
29/5/2013 20:36 | Sorry about the header but for some unknown reason the HTML codes are not working as they should. Even my back up doesn't work. If anyone knows a fix then let me know and I'll have another go at it. In the meantime, the basic text layout will have to do. | dukedosh
29/5/2013 19:24 | Happy days if G5/50 hits but as you well know, any miss is hammered, whilst success seemingly goes unrewarded, currently in this fickle market anyway. Value will show in the share price eventually, us longs just have to remain patient until it does. Fortunately my patience is much stronger than my frustration. | dukedosh
29/5/2013 16:51 | duke, the months may be ticking by, the oil's not bothered, it's been waiting millions of years for some fresh air..... PS. It strikes me that the market's already put the boot in, let's hope the G5/50 result catches him off balance ;-#)) Might see a result there as early as next week? | thegreatgeraldo
29/5/2013 16:09 | TGG. I am hoping that will happen but the months are ticking by. I just don't want us to give the market any excuse to hammer us. However, I do agree that H2 will be good, it's just a question of how good. | dukedosh
29/5/2013 16:06 | marben Thanks | jaws6 |
