From PLUS's update this morning:

Further to the Group's AGM trading update on 3 May 2022, trading in Q2 2022 to date has continued to be very strong, supported by current market conditions. Consequently, the Board has increasing confidence around the Group's performance for FY 2022, and therefore anticipates that Plus500's revenue and EBITDA for this year will be significantly ahead of current market expectations

VIX has been basically over 30 for two weeks and counting. Last time it happened was two months from mid-Feb to mid-April 2020 a fortnight in June 2020, and then only recently for 3 weeks from Feb into March.

VIX has been around 30 or so for a couple of weeks now. Q2/2022 looks to be averaging slightly above Q1 so far.

Edit - and climbing this morning. 33 now.

Spreadbetters wet dream, you just got to keep your bean bag in proportion to the size of your punts. But CMC is often used by professionals as a means to hedge their positions, small timers tend to take naked positions. Just keep things small and timing right, stay within your limitations.

How the hell do you know how Q1 is going for CMC, do you work in their accounts dept., I’d say business is well in excess, simply as a result of the whipsawing in commodities and currencies.

The numbers in the PLUS500 trading statement were fantastic.

Arpu up 104% year on year perhaps being the standout. Don't believe me ..have a look.
