Algy is in his twilight years and although still very active maybe the younger Mr Spencer plans to step in.Mr Spencer's new challenge perhaps with his last venture over .There is tremendous potential in the North sea and for a relatively younger man a great challenge .Algy could still keep some executive role .

If you think that Michael Spencer is in this to make 20-30% gains you obviously don't know him very well. I have just added 140,142 to my holding! thanks for the chance to top up at these good prices!

Spencer is worth a huge amount and he knows that the UK gas supply is dependent on others .4.3TCF is worth phone book numbers..In my view he will be adding rather than selling..Trading when viewed closely suggests shares are being shifted from one to another with someone picking up a significant numberb of shares but that is only my opinion.time will tell if we get a holding announcement or not..whichever ,Cluff is in a great position.

tbh I'm confused buy the price action since last week's news, i can only see upside from here but have enough experience to temper expectations. And being a total layman on O&G and how to value these businesses, followed the man !

£42,000 delayed buy from this morning at 3.5p just popped up. That tells you all you need to know. Someone was impressed with the extended licences!

The market is telling us that a load of day traders bought on the rumour and sold on the news, good luck to them!Often they have no real knowledge about the company or an historical perspective. The new assets are potentially huge, we could possibly be hooked up with several different deals. To make the choice of blocks for the 30th CNR had to have a pretty good idea of what they were dealing with to make their application. I'm sure other companies also know.

just keeping real, too many AIM investors are disappointed and not realistic; i thought we would get to 4 p plus on recent news, maybe the market is telling us something here

i have 2.7m of these and so we're on the same side, at 15p i would be ecstatic but the price action tells me something different to 15p or anything near

You misunderstand kristini. I am saying that as the licences have been extended it would suggest CLNR have provided the necessary proof that something is close.

Imo is time for management here to at last get something over the line especially with little cash in the bank. Investors deserve good news.
