24/5/2018 12:12 | Mr Spencer perhaps pivotal in our suprise amount of successful bids.Depends why Mr Spencer is involved,he will be involved for a reason and it would be interesting to be a fly on the wall listening in on algy/Mike conuversations. | bronislav
24/5/2018 11:53 | Indeed anley when the meat is put on the bones of what all those licences may contain then surely we must put on much more value than we have currently. I doubt anyone was expecting us to get the number of licences we did. | soulsauce
24/5/2018 11:26 | Spot on A1M......but Mr Spencer has to fit in some where does he not? The person who does the charts on Vox tells the world that she likes the chart on CLNR as it makes higher prices from lower levels and the next one is 4.3p to 4.9p and then moving to 6p but does not say when. I have moved to a buyer yesterday and this morning as 2.6p is now deeply undervalued in my view. | anley
24/5/2018 08:09 | souls might be right here, a gradual share price appreciation once the loose holders have cleared.... | kristini2
24/5/2018 07:19 | Thankyou for that, and the 20% & 30% figures are almost industry standard metrics I guess you've used here... | kristini2
23/5/2018 21:47 | Kristini, this is my interpretation only and fairly basic so don't take this as advice or a given, i'm sure plenty will have different views on it, but in a fairly simplistic way to value, CLNR annual report gave a risked EMV for 2 of the main prospects as £155m and said today the new licenses near enough doubled that, so £310m = 77p. Centrica will be looking to pay a % of that to take on 100% ownership and all the risk. With 100% ownership they get a shot at all the prospects on the licenses not just the two clnr have valued. So then it depends on what deal gets done Centrica paying 20% gives £60m or 14p per share Centrica paying 30% gives £93m or 21p per share etc Say we go the JV route, based on current brokers valuation of £55m which includes giving 50% to partner, if we doubled resource today then a very crude target would be £110m or 25p per share Personally I'd be happy with 14p per share! | a1m1investor
23/5/2018 21:12 | GS was talking on VOX today. 11 mins 28 in | vivgav
23/5/2018 20:32 | Is there an 'oily' here that can guess what our resource is worth to Centrica ? I have not a clue..... | kristini2
23/5/2018 18:16 | Centrica, aka Spirit energy, aka British Gas have shown their hand now about their interest in our resource...they want it! Expecting a JV with Centrica is where this is going now, either that or they just buy us out! | a1m1investor
23/5/2018 17:12 | The other jig saw peice is Mr Spencer and what he can do now he has sold his City interests and free to do what he likes............... In the meantime play with what has happened over ALL the licenses - you have the numbers from the Press Release and this will show you all we need to know for the time being: | anley
23/5/2018 13:39 | Thank you pipersand, I agree thank you for your contributions. I feel confident that we're on the way! It will be interesting towards the end of the month. | clickon
23/5/2018 13:37 | Happy days here, the big turnaround starts now! Very happy with outcome of the 30th round, well done the CLNR team. Anley, I take it you're referencing the 43 block, where we have our biggie, P2248 licence (43/11), very exciting. So we've gained another 2 in block43 and 2 in block42 and like you say, Spirit energy, which is 69%-owned by Centrica plc, have been awarded 2, 43/14a and 43/14b. So looks like centrica is after our gas!! Also interesting to see we are neighbours with BP on 22/24. We have 22/24f, they have 22/24h. So potential partners with centrica and BP coming our way! Fantastic stuff. | a1m1investor
23/5/2018 13:35 | I am back in my office and have been looking at the new licensing map but I am afraid I am unable to download it to look at all the blocks. I am sure (when the team get back from lunch) they will start to take a detailed look. In the meantime some short term punters have sold and most will sit back and await news so the timing of the AGM is a perfect place to ask the Board questions. Thank you Pipersand for your kind words. | anley
23/5/2018 12:43 | Indeed Clickon, congratulations to all the team for their commitment delivering these licences they have won today. The doubters may think we've achieved nothing yet, but today's success is a significant step forward to obtaining a good farm in deal. Good luck to all long term, patient holders and valuable contributors on this board, like you Anley and others. Your contributions are personally appreciated. I sense good things around the corner. | pipersand
23/5/2018 11:43 | Congratulations to Algy Cluff, Graham Swindells, Andrew Nunn and the team on such a successful application, great work! | clickon
23/5/2018 10:54 | I see that 2 have oil and its there in the earth and the others are gas and people are getting excited as I am. Soulsauce is right as short term placees are selling and new buyers come in..........lots more work so by the time the AGM arrives the CLNR team will have worked out just what is what. | anley
23/5/2018 09:42 | Think we are still clearing some overhang from the recent placing, once clear these should head much higher on that news. Lots of potential resource in those licences. Will be better when we get full news of what these licences contain. | soulsauce
23/5/2018 09:33 | All, Look for Spirit Energy and then find out how far away these new blocks are from CLNR - existing and new................. Not able to do for some hours. | anley
23/5/2018 09:23 | well i did suggest a while it might 'sell the news' which appears to be happening, anyway positive news i guess and we build from here.... | kristini2
23/5/2018 09:23 | Excellent RNS, several discovered prospects in there as well as some oil and a further 1.9TCF of gas. Obviously not sunk in yet. | soulsauce
23/5/2018 09:08 | Apparently posters on LSE saying it's actually 8 licences. I3E has gone up massively on getting the 'one' licence they need to complement their existing one. We have a plethora and interestingly one shared with Parkmead ;-) | soulsauce
23/5/2018 09:04 | You're on it Soulsource, well done; good early price action | kristini2
23/5/2018 08:57 | Five & a half licences I make it, just need to chech where these are. Will be interesting to know how many have been drilled before and contain hydrocarbons. | soulsauce
23/5/2018 08:44 | Looks like we are in line for a bumper share out of the 30th licencing round ;-) | soulsauce
22/5/2018 22:13 | Good to have 9 days leeway before the 31st May. | clickon |
