10/10/2017 14:27 | Thank you Anley, good comments, the 13 m buy is interesting, there was a forward selling theory, but would a 13m of sells have to show up first, plus at least someone's bought them. Are you in favour of a part or self funded dilution to get the ball rolling? Also applying for new licenses might suggest something has been sorted, otherwise we end up will no licenses or more potential prospects not drilled, although I understand some are proven. | clickon
10/10/2017 12:15 | Clickon....I do agree that Algy is not a quitter but on previous form I do think I know what is going to happen. I have been a shareholder when it was UCG and again I agree that what happened was not his fault and so he was canny enough to change direction and enter the world of gas exploration in the Southern North Sea. However, very few shareholders have benefitted. Looking at the chart - from 5p to 1.75p (over 5 years) and a number of dilutions as well have left us all nursing losses. I have dealt in these shares a number of times in the last two years and am glad to say that my holding stands me in at 2.5p. I am happy with that as I believe someone else will come along and get control of the 3TCF of gas. That is for me worth at least 5p with the AIM quote. As for PMG I really can't see Mr Cluff and the PMG board doing a deal - that is a real clash of personalities!! On a risk reward basis to bring my average down to say the current price I would have to invest 1.5 times my original sum and still it would be an average of 2p. So do I expect a 40% uplift to the shares in the next few months.....the answer is no on just a £1m funding which if nothing else happens only keeps the company going until MID Q2 2018. In one of my recent posts I mentioned that ALL the share options had expired so there is NOT one director who has a reasonable stake except Mr Cluff who unless he is subscribing now will be diluted yet again. The board is now in a very vulnerable position as it is still not certain if CLNR will loose or gain new licenses around their current holdings. That is why I want to read and comment on the Shareholder Circular to be issued "on or around the 10th October". So what is the end game? That is for the readers of this BB to ask themselves but you know what I feel about matters. Its become an interesting debate but in the meantime watch the share register. | anley
10/10/2017 10:55 | Anley Algy is not a quitter and you really do not know what will happen. I may be wrong but I've been with this from 2012 and you seem to have been somewhat anti Algy since I've been here. I am ok that he's there and if he gets a deal I hope he stays.I'm glad (for environmental reasons) that they moved from UCG to Gas. It wasn't his fault the SNP stitched him up. | clickon
10/10/2017 10:45 | There is an essential and big difference between JOG and CLNRJOG only has 9.95 million shares and as it turns out was probably oversold. | clickon
10/10/2017 10:38 | The first tranche hits the market on Thursday. It looks like a large portion has been forward sold but wtfdik | doshdabbler
10/10/2017 10:24 | 41.6m shares have already been authorised. The rest need to be passed at the EGM | doshdabbler
10/10/2017 09:55 | The shares could well have been placed but the EGM to authorise the issue has not - So where have the 13 million shares come from? I think from Henderson but tomorrow we should know unless it was a block where several unconnected holders are involved.......we shall see. You have to be so careful with AIM companies and the so called NOMAD advisers.....Cluff got rid of Panmure's because they did not help in one of the previous placings and so that left Allenby who are, true to form very opptermistic in their projections. Have a read on their site and see how they got to 12.6p value!!! If there is a bid Cluff will go - if there is no bid Cluff will still go.....he has served his time and if we all get out with a profit in the coming months this is his last deal. By palacing over 15% of new issued capital he has opened CLNR to opportunisitic bids and deals. I feel I am right because the markets have never marked the shares higher than perhaps they are worth. Look at what happened yesterday with Jersey Oil and Gas and then compare that with Hurrican (HUR) and how it struggled to get its capital. I am a shareholder in HUR but not Jersey. | anley
09/10/2017 22:29 | They must be placing shares. | wordog
09/10/2017 18:40 | Oh and Anley, you were right and I was most definitely wrong about the fund raise. No more predictions from me. | doshdabbler
09/10/2017 18:31 | Clearly the placing shares are being forward sold. | doshdabbler
09/10/2017 18:21 | So who is selling especially sufficient shares for a buy of 13m (over 3% of the company) and all the other buys today..........we shall have to wait and see). WED is the publication of the circular............ | anley
09/10/2017 14:23 | Best not to try to understand what goes on behind the scenes trading wise..mr lappin to oversee the data room.process...dole out the shares to those favourable few (in my opinion)...release news of any deal.bids submitted for next bid round. | bronislav
09/10/2017 12:54 | Well I don't get it either, what is going on here? More shares being issued, a large percentage of the company bought today at a silly price, maybe the offer is on the way? | therealdeal5
09/10/2017 12:02 | You never know, they could do a tree shake later if mm's didn't have the stock on their books. | clickon
09/10/2017 11:30 | A cool 3.5% of the shares in issue. Not quite sure how the price has remained so static after that trade...in fact the next buy was lower! | limited access
09/10/2017 11:28 | The 13 M trade was an 'O' or ordinary trade, that's good. | clickon
09/10/2017 11:04 | Just a case of watching it unfold now..No guarantees of course but I have faith that algy will get this over the line.I dont believe that the board are in it just for a free ride with no end game or progress.mr lappin was brought in for a good reason,my belief is it was to enhance our negotiating in the data room.A high calibre appointment. | bronislav
09/10/2017 09:44 | If I am right then this purchase represents a disclosure notice within the next 3 days. However, the holding will then be under the disclosure rule by the time the EGM resolutions are passed on 26 October. Let us await news to add to ramping which will be going on and besides who was the seller........Hender | anley
09/10/2017 08:11 | 13,000,000 and 175,000 buys to begin the week. | bushman1
06/10/2017 20:02 | Further what exactly? | wordog
06/10/2017 19:56 | Put simply we should be funding or part funding a drill. Otherwise, in the absence of a deal we will go from fundraise to fundraise slowly diluting and going nowhere. Bite the bullet before it's too late and fund enough to get the job done. | clickon |
