CPAPMAN.......can you tell us please what we should expect from CLNR on MONDAY.....as I hope you are not circulating false news which is an offence.

EUCLID5........a pumped up figure which the market does not believe....as brokers to the 1.5p placing all they were or are doing is to screw you by dilution and let new shareholders in to flip the new shares on any reasonable news that CLNR may produce. This is what happened last time when over a few days over 10% of the issued share capital changed hands.

A POINT to NOTE.........

Henderson the fund manager seems not to have sold so it will be helpful to know what they think when the circular is sent out on 10 October.

At this moment in time I would gladly accept a quarter of that.

Allenby Capital based their TP of 12.6p on raising £1.87m - wonder if they will change that slightly as less dilution on 371m shs in issue now

Yes director purchases a must to instil some much needed confidence. Shame the govt' has not been more bullish on gas in the n.sea, unfortunately they appear to want use fraccing instead to provide our gas requirements :-/

AND still nothing from BP, all their PI's can manage to discuss most of the time on the bb is their dividends. I should have begun this diatribe by 'Don't get me started!'The institutions should push for a self or part funded drill. Otherwise how long will they stay onboard.

I think we should challenge the financing, we were at 7.8p not that long ago. UKOG get the drilling underway and although they have over 2000 million shares in issue they have managed an appreciation in the share price.

Plus I would be inclined to buy more shares if it were to fund a drill, I suspect others might feel the same.I certainly expect directors to buy shares, no RNS for that lately which doesn't inspire confidence, certainly many of us have been adding and propping this up above 1.5p! They should too!

If we were able to put up part of the funding for a drill, that would mean a partner sharing the risk and needing to find less money. The current approach to financing is questionablekeep diluting little by little is a mistake in my opinion.

I think it would have been better to fund a drill with a larger dilution to get the ball rolling, ahead of the licensing round. Perhaps better to have some success at a lower share price initially than a whole lot of nothing. If we can't drill the two we've got why will the Oil and Gas Authority give us any more?Plus to 'seek to complete' suggests no deal at the moment!

Everyone.......I have edited my last post.

The total number of shares to be issued by the end of October will constitute nearly 17% of the enlarged share capital. So shareholders are being diluted once again and I think that makes it either 3 or 4 times in the last 4 years,,,,,best you check.

Will the directors be buying any as there are no share options for board members as they have either gone under water or lapsed. And this begs the question as to how the principal 3 board members make a reasonable return on their efforts.

For me and if I were in Cluff's shoes I would be looking for someone to take me over and today I price the business at no more than 5p a long way short of those punters looking for 20p+ when the shares went from 1p to 6p..........

So we sit tight until 10/11 October when the circular comes out.........

Well there we go BUT we now need to read the final circular very carefully as I believe that as I write there is NO DEAL in prospect and there wont be one until the issue of licenses has been made. If I was a potential FARM-IN partner I would like to see a larger portfolio.

There is no point in buying at the current market price but if your broker can buy from Allenby on your behalf at 1.5p then all well and good........but not till one knows what the time table is.

I will get someone to go to the EGM just to see what the board has to say about its future............what a difficult situation this is for Mr Cluff. However, he did say at the AGM that he needed to raise more funds before the year was out and this he is doing.

Soulsauce .it would appear to us that algy has struggled to get a deal but the reality could be the opposite.Just because we havent had an rns to the market announcing a deal it doesnt mean there isnt one.

Obvious that farminees have not been falling over themselves to get in on our assets, let's hope a deal gets done sooner rather than later.
And getting in on another licencing round when Algy has openly said the govt' isn't bothered about the N.Sea and still awaiting the last licencing news :-/

I am guessing that whomever is in on the placing would assume that a deal is forthcoming and as such will want to hang onto those shares as it would be more lucrative to hold on for the deal than flip them for a quick buck.

There it is ...1.5p .well called by anley....first part of the process and the first tranche of the placing altedy raised. Now we have the table seated by the favoured few we get the general meeting out of the way and then its next stage which in my speculative view will.be the announcing of a deal. That deal likely to put us in a more favourable position in the bid round.

Not long to the bid round so I expect this month could see some significant news.
Of course there are no guarantees we will see news but the authorities behind the bid round will be kept fully up to date I suspect.
