Save that OXS was a -ve decision and sufficiently surprising to warrant an application to the court in Paris. Hopefully
the CHL arbitrators are not in a similar boat!

Churchill (LON:CHL) was indicating a decision over its ROI spat by this morning. Nothing has emerged. So it also sinks. I have got enough. However, it is fair to speculate that if the decision were adverse ICSID would have issued it by now. Shades of Oxus all over again.

Beginning to look expensive? Not to ROI it is'nt. Thry are piling in, imho, as many as they can buy, mitigates the loss.

Roi know the verdict, of course they do, roi have lost, the 3 day notice gets issued then roi talk. 3 day notice gets issued maybe chl suspened shares immediatly, therefore roi buy plenty prior to 3 day notice, like now.

Please dont give me the fca will act sgainst them, NO BRITISH RULES OF FINANCE APPLY TO ROI.

Roi dont give a diddly squat for fca. Settlement coming before Christmas.

Many times I could of lost all my holding here if I was doing spread betting with a stop loss. Fortunately I had enough to cover what would of been a margin call yesterday, and now my £120 pp long is nice and safe and looking forward to the news.

Spot on, but I don't think the elite asset grabbers would want their name coming out officially as that would jeopardise their political aspirations and image in Indonesia.

OOC settlement possible, their legal team must have been embarrassed at times to actually come up with embarrassing excuses.

they failed to provide police docs and anti corruption docs, if they had something on ridlatama or chl don't you think they would have released them to the tribunal?

I'm really surprised their legal team isnt recommending ooc settlement, this can be embarrassing for them also.

Churchill in the past has said it considers the measures taken by the Indonesian government as "unlawful" and said it has pursued its claim against the country in an attempt to secure USD1.31 billion, plus interest, in damages.Shares in Churchill were up 9.1% at 36.00 pence on Wednesday following the announcement.Award very close now!

Both parties will get sight of the decision and detailed transcripts prior to the announcement being made public.

Assuming as we expect the decision is highly damning of the Indo's and their corrupt officials, Indonesia could easily be scrambling around at the last minute to settle and in return have some sort of gagging agreement where the decision is not made public. Face saving deal and I am sure the ICSID would agree to this if both parties are in agreement.

Put it this way if the decision is due to be made public say Monday and no RNS this could be clear signal settlement talks are going on.


This is going to be a very exciting few days.

Yes if we win this phase the short term OOC possibility would be a lot higher and I think many would be speculating on this too.
So not quite so blk and white where we would settle at the end of the day.
