15/2/2024 08:16 | ... and bought in, late 330s worth a punt | hamhamham1
15/2/2024 08:08 | 256 on the fibs. | albert arthur
15/2/2024 08:05 | Easy money for Wace and Millennium | dplewis1
15/2/2024 07:41 | I disagree re the FCA. They always come out on the side of Johnny Consumer! F#ck Business, as some blonde bombshell once said! | hamhamham1
15/2/2024 07:38 | At last! Almost certain imo that they had to cut the dividend. There is a good chance there will be a favourable outcome regarding the FCA review in which case the 2024 dividend may be reinstated as a special dividend on top of the 2025 dividend. So if you're happy to make do with no dividend this year with a chance of an enhanced payment next year it's a worthwhile punt at this share price All imo and GLA!!!! | jonnybig
15/2/2024 07:32 | Oh dear. 300p open? | scepticalinvestor
15/2/2024 07:20 | Right call to get rid of the divi, will be interesting to see market reaction to this RNS | dplewis1
15/2/2024 07:14 | (I hadn't seen this before my last post) Poss today's RNS is in reply to midnight times article? | hamhamham1
15/2/2024 07:01 | They need to build a war chest it seems to me. IMO, that's the divi gone initially, then either an equity raise or asset sale to generate a big lump of cash for the autumn. Who knows? I am prob completely wrong! (And to be fair, I guess it could be said that I am merely paraphrasing the times article.) | hamhamham1
15/2/2024 06:26 | Worth a punt, once dust settles, even if you pay a premium on the day of say 15-20% post settlement news. That looks later in the year it seems. But for me, until then, it's sideways or tilt down possible? | hamhamham1
14/2/2024 17:03 | Millennium Capital have also joined Wace in the shorting. | albert arthur
13/2/2024 19:30 | Good luck with that opinion 28cesar, the correction may well have overshot. Though as Ian Cowie would opine, Mr Market seldom gets this stuff wrong. Having bought a few months ago into my SIPP, luckily the tax benefit recently received allowed me to exit at a very small profit. I'm a lucky fellah there, traders who bought at a similar time will be rueing buying late in 2023, or early 2024 and cursing their luck. Stick or twist? Seemingly a no brainer at this time. CBG shares right now are going in only one direction, and we all know on this thread in what direction. I feel/think that CBG is a basket case right now. Until and unless the BOD issue a statement. d. | damanko
13/2/2024 16:46 | This correction has overshot in my opinion...even though a large slice of profits will disappear due to the motor finance enquiry, other income streams remain. I expect a solid rebound after results are announced in March, and the company FINALLY gives us a long awaited update. | 28cesar
13/2/2024 16:23 | Wace now 0.62% short | albert arthur
13/2/2024 16:15 | Wace further increased short last session (yesterday) | albert arthur
13/2/2024 11:51 | Price to Book Ratio 0.38 | drw1
13/2/2024 11:48 | If we take out this 393 fib it's going to drop potentially under 3 on the table:INTRADAY-CBG 385.54 380.93 377.20 373.47 368.16 365.00 352.80 348.32 341.87 332.96 316.72 310.27 278.67 | albert arthur
13/2/2024 11:04 | I always thought this was overvalued when it was over £10 with an over stretched dividend and excessive p/e, trading at a premium to its peers. So the Novartis write off and potential motor finance provision has compounded with a major correction imo, all the chickens coming home to roost! | jonnybig
13/2/2024 10:44 | Surely someone must be running a slide rule over this at £4? Cheap as chips imo. Suet | suetballs
13/2/2024 10:36 | Bought my last tranche and then some (below £4). Last time this stock reached below 4 was on the 21.01.09 (only once) and then in 1997. | cirlbunting1
13/2/2024 08:25 | When Wace go short, all the other little funds sometimes jump in too... this does not look like a hedged Short... | albert arthur
13/2/2024 08:22 | Bargain of the century or going bust. Suet | suetballs
13/2/2024 08:18 | All time low?Wld take a punt but then there really is nothing positive | scepticalinvestor
13/2/2024 08:06 | 400 going today by the looks of it .. yikes | dplewis1 |
