supportive and discussions are also continuing with regard to a potential

This was the last statement made by the company in september , we will now have to wait until early next week as to why they suspended on friday. The NAV at the last set of figures was 17p , there have been numerous rumours of takeover/bid ,The share price has now lifted and is still growing(prior to suspension)The company is refinancing ,The stock has been tipped by a couple of people 'The wrong price etc'.
Lets hope for an early announcement and to continue the trend set in the last couple of weeks. This is all just a reminder as to why I bought into this stock. Please do your own reseach and good luck to all

Salut "frenchboy24",

Je crois que vous avez raison, je pense que cette RNS c'est pour du bien, plutot pour du mal, bonne chance a tous.

En anglais.

Hi "frenchboy24",

I think that you are right, I think that this RNS is for the good rather than the bad, best luck to everyone.

Right folks,

Panic seems to have set in, as myself and Daddy' can tell you, you ain't seen nothing yet.

On a positive note however, if a price starts to shoot up prior to an announcement, it is perfectly normal to suspend the shares until the announcement is made.

I am positive on this one, and hopefully it will help pay for the couple of K I lost this week.

AxisComm,

Thanks for that but I suspect all CAB holders will be sat in front of their

PCs at 7.59am on Monday morning fingers at the ready.

Any responsible financial markets investor (in particular those involved in volatile indices) should appreciate the importance of trailing/conventional stop-loss triggers.

I therefore highly recommend 1) that you either choose an execution only broker supporting the above mentioned utility such as Comdirect, (2) alternatively register with IGMarkets (guaranteed stop-loss at a variable premium).

Such action will narrow potential losses, but also impede opportunities in the markets.
Preferably, by taking the advice given above you can prevent learning the hard way (as in my own case).

By reaffirming the extreme volatility in the forthcoming period, please accept this advice. The market will shed no tears over your weakened financial positions.

Philmiboots,

Just received a phone call from my Gran.

She said "please, please, don't let Philmiboots anywhere near my eyes, he was the one who treated Stevie Wonder - when he could see.

She said "for God's sake don't give philmiboots my address".

I got very happily drunk on CDY & PIT tonight so I'm off to bed.

Monday night I suspect I will get miserably drunk with my Gran.

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Soulsauce and everyone else

Sorry if I put the wind up you. I am also hoping that everything will be great on Monday. As for 12p limit, a bit conservative isnt it?

Nothing more than is in the public domain. As I am only (and also) a shareholder we have a mutual vested interest.

Hi All, I have been following Carbo over the last week and a half or so, but did not buy into them. So I have also been following this thread with interest. I will just clarify for you a couple of points re the suspension of a share.

Any company that is listed on the market FTSE/AIM/OFEX is obliged under Stock Exchange rules to suspend it's shares if an significant event was to happen to the company that would radically alter the value of the company i.e rev takeover for a company that is mainly a cash shell, problems with the accounts etc. It would not ordinarily suspend it's shares if a bid is made for the company, it would simply make an RNS ( unless the bid would radically alter the financial structure of the company ) that is what is important here. The news, whatever it is, WILL alter the structure of the company in someway that will have a major impact on the shareprice ( for good or for bad ). They would not suspend the shares just because the price had risen for a reason that they did'nt know of, they would just make an RNS saying that they knew of no reason etc etc other than press speculation or whatever ( see the RNS for Finelist today as an example ).
Looking at what occured at the 15.00/15.30 hours when the price started to move it does appear that someone got information that something was in the air, I think that had the share price not moved at that time then I think it had probably been the company's intention to suspend the shares after the close of trading in preparation for an RNS first thing on Monday morning ( 07.00 ) which would give the MM's time to readjust the price to a more appropiate level before the open of trading.
I have had expierience of my shares being suspended 3 times and so have done a little work on it in the past as to the why's and wherefore's.
My opinion of wether this is going to be a good or bad announcement, on past events of my shares, depends alot on wether they do actually make an announcement on Monday morning, if they do then I think that it will probably be good news, if they don't say anything on Monday and there is no press speculation over the weekend as to the reasons for the suspension then I would not be as hopeful.
I hope this has been of interest to you and a little helpful. I also wish all of you shareholders the very best of luck and that you all make a mint.
Kind Regards F.B.

Suspension is described as temporary! Don't believe its negative but I can't be sure. Will drive past factory tomorrow if possible and try to figure out how the land lies.

Just set stop loss and sell limits just in case. Limit of 12p and stop loss of 5p. But who knows what price they will come back from suspension.
Philmiboots - where are you, you just got back in - you must have mixed emotions like the rest of us. Here's hoping I can still send you that FIVER?
Any comments old boy on what news means?
