24/1/2002 09:58 | It hasnt been 8p/8.5p for over 12 months or have i missed something ? mms98 | mms98
24/1/2002 09:55 | Mike I have only been watching this stock for a short time. It was interesting when 'day traders' seemed to push this stock only a few weeks ago. It was this metoeric rise I was talking about. It was crazy to see people piling in and when it touched 8/8.5p the profit takers took their profits leaving a few with burnt fingers. That is why I think we will see some selling at those figures, for those people wanting to get out. As I said before, I prefer the regular smaller increases than the day traders coming on and hyping it too soon. | daddy warbucks
24/1/2002 09:28 | I agree that 8.0 - 8.5 looks like a reasonable congestion area on the chart but where did you get the 'meteoric rise' from? CAB has been in steady decline from 18.0 down to 2.0 with only a few upward blips along the road.... | nav_mike
24/1/2002 09:23 | I think there were a lot of people who bought in on the last meteoric rise up to 8 or 8.5p and who may have had there fingers burnt. I would expect some selling around that figure before it continues upwards. | daddy warbucks
24/1/2002 09:19 | institutions have stopped selling obviously This should be double figures at this rate within a month | graceyfields
24/1/2002 08:56 | well worth double figs , but as long as institutions persistently keep selling large chunks it cannot achieve its value . maybe they have stopped now. | conc2
24/1/2002 08:45 | I think it would be great to hold until at least double figures ,the share price is worth at least that imho please do your own research. mms98 | mms98
24/1/2002 08:37 | graceyfields/bobalex I agree. Doesn't appear too much stock around so any decent buying has had the effect of pushing the price up. | daddy warbucks
24/1/2002 08:33 | wish I hadn't been spooked by last RNS think I might come back on board if everyone is holding | conc2
24/1/2002 08:24 | Agree Daddy..5% each or every other day would be nice but if it keeps popping up on the top 10 leaderboard it will hardly be kept quiet. | bobalex2000
24/1/2002 08:22 | IF this one works out the way we hope I think there should be a CAB owners party to celebrate wiping out some or all of our losses! | nav_mike
24/1/2002 08:20 | I'm happy with the 5% rise each day! Lets keep this one quiet for a while. WE can all make some money on it. Dont you think? | daddy warbucks
24/1/2002 08:16 | there si no stock available thats why 6p on the cards imho | graceyfields
24/1/2002 08:08 | Wow! look what the slightest bit of buying does these days! | nav_mike
24/1/2002 03:30 | I have finally had a correct answer to the rule 8 disclosure issue that as cursed this board over the last week or so. I do not wish to cause any arguments or bad feelings so I will not post it here. I needed to know because I will be increasing my holding if there are any dips in the price, and did not want to make any wrong moves. If any other holders are thinking that they will be increasing their holdings in the future and wish to know the maximum percentage of stock they may hold before making a disclosure, then please email me and I will forward an email from the company secretary of Carbo PLC, Mr Graham Firth to you, what you do with the info after is totally upto you, but as for me this matter is now closed. riggers221@hotmail.c Happy trading & good luck :) Riggs | riggs
23/1/2002 16:11 | All gone quiet, are we bored of the steady price rises? More of it in my opinion, but a .5p rise tomorrow would be nice. | soulsauce
23/1/2002 11:13 | Interesting? | soulsauce
23/1/2002 11:01 | soulsauce Think you may be right - I see no synergy with this business and his others. But if you look behind post 1215 at Montpellier and whats going on there its difficult to predict whats to follow: 1) JVP - big tranche of shares owned by Union to be sold to Montpellier 2) Union according to Citywire 21/5/2001 to be relaunched as a cash shell after selling off its businesses 3)33% shareholder in Montpellier is Forvaltnings AB Browallia which is selling it some real estate 4)Montpellier has a recent "Investment Division" 5) Is this a consolidation of PG's investment businesses? and if so where does CAB fit? | wrangler501
23/1/2002 10:59 | Anybody know what a Risk Trade is and what it is used for? | soulsauce
23/1/2002 10:49 | Yep likewise here too Soulsauce. If we have reached a position where the sellers have been cleared, think what one more good tip could do. Imagine the effect that another day of 20m buys would have! Right - who can we bribe to write something very positive?? 8-) | nav_mike
23/1/2002 10:45 | soulsauce, Good post, I agree 100% | justjim37
23/1/2002 09:25 | Encouraging to see the people are not snapping up the 4.75 bid | nav_mike |
