No its not , its the opposite.
Clontarf balance sheet is just holes.
They have zero revenue and would not know a profit if it hit them in the face.
The point of the next stage is to assess risk based on those financial factors
there is unlikely any other company in the world , bidding for this work with as poor a
track record.

For that reason , they most likely will be out.
My estimate of that would be about 99.9999999% ie similar to the equivalent % drop in all the Clontarf kennels London listed shares...

Spot on bryman3. 100% stability in Bolivia will be away more attractive than the basket case of Mali. It's a matter of patience. Yes, there is probably money to be made going in and out but difficult to get the timing right. We'll done to traders who do. This was over 2p in 2020, what changed was negative sentiment against the mining juniors since then. They are now beginning to show signs of life. The real fun begins when they are able to hold the gain and not do 50% up or down within a few hours

CLON now very much on the radar. This will catch the eye of other cos who will be interested in a JV or else an all out takeover.

Just read the RNS and that's as positive as we can get at this stage... very reassuring. With the backing of the EU, there shouldn't be an issue getting through this next phase.Next step, I hope, is confirmation that CLON gets some additional funding either through Euro agencies or maybe there's a hint that someone else joins in the JV... very interesting times.

RE: FinancialsToday 13:53Mcap £3m. Finance will be no problem for CLON as many electric V producers may want this staff. Future share price after stage 3 will be x10 x20 easily. that is 30-60m Mcap and growing.buy and hold. price fluctuation today is miner in what to come next.This will have similar growth to KOD with no risk associated to Mali politics and uncertainties there. Plus a reduced production costs as it is at surface and likely consumers in America and Europe. KOD moved from 0.04 to x15 on finance till production.Nice one. Hold for gold.

March RNSToday 12:57The Company further notes that, on 27 February 2024, the European Commission launched an important initiative in partnership with a high-level Bolivian delegation to Brussels. This followed the EU Critical Minerals Act 2023, which aims to boost and diversify supplies of critical raw materials, and support necessary Research and Development. Clontarf Energy participated with other private sector companies, banks and development agencies in these events in the country. The result was that the EU institutions agreed in principle to finance related infrastructure, through the Bolivian authorities, and accepted that Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) is clean and environmentally friendly. As infrastructure spend can be two-thirds of the total capital cost of new mines in remote locations, this support is critical. Bolivian representatives also accepted in principle that such investment would qualify for contractual offtake rights, under applicable law. This meets the key EU objective to protect and develop its automotive and green technology sectors.

Europe at present can't compete with Chinese EV makers .They need cheaper Li resources and higher grade to compete and survive in EV manufacturing.Any company which can provide them with some resources of Li would be most welcome ,small or big company. Colt can become one of good expanding resource to get their hands on.It's probably the discussion is well advanced now between the two and for Europe to provide the small financial support needed. Hence the share price continues to be bullish after the RNS.I am positive on today's developments including the excellent RNS.
