28/9/2022 09:14 | It would appear that the USA doe is wasting their money along with Warren Buffet's fund attempting to find a commercial DLE method that works when apparently one is going to be employed in chile in Q1 2023 hxxps://jpt.spe.org/ The US Department of Energy’s Geothermal Technologies Office announced the following semi-finalists will be advancing to Phase 2 of the $4 million competition to develop direct lithium extraction technologies for application to geothermal brines in California’s Salton Sea/Imperial Valley. Each team will receive a $40,000 grant and will advance their proposals during the second phase to demonstrate their design abilities. Those who advance to Phase 3 will fabricate and test their designs. 28/9/2022 08:46 | good luck with the Beyond Lithium having the world's first commercial DLE patent that would be with $billions that like the count says will be extracted in Q1 2023. Maybe it's just me and as always happy to stand corrected, but in the first view, everything doesn't seem to be, shall we say, reassuring, does it now? aimho. | the_mandalorian

28/9/2022 08:16 | Hillarious, yet again the cult member of CTL can not highlight one single point of mine that is "nonsense" because as anyone that has spent a few mins checking, they know already it's all FACT. He is petrified to debate anything with me, so post the pathetic and childish drive-by shooting post. I have seen fewer indoctrinated Jehovah's Witnesses than on the other CTL thread! What a bizarre forum, the count of the ramp is posting "people are trying to silence him" whilst simultaneously banning anyone from his North Korean style thread, expect an instant ban if you dare talk about the actual company in a balanced way. You will get on fine if you pamper or play along with there with his squaild ramp. He refuses to answer any of the factual points I make and just posts generic rampy cliche like "will be back over 60p soon". Meanwhile, and in what seems it a laughable attempt to try and recover some loss he posts outright lies about DLE. Let me clarify this for anyone who can not see what is happening here. DLE has never been proven commercial anywhere in the world despite being invented in the 70s and hundreds of millions of $ put in trying to make it so. If you do not believe me then google it, that 1 min searching may save you a lot of, money! So with that in mind, the count of the ramp has actually posted on his thread a timeline of commercial DLE extraction by CTL in Q1 2023. He says Comercail DLE is cheaper than pooling. no, it isn't, he does not even understand the basics here! The sole reason DLE is not commercial is due to the extreme costs of using DLE compared to say traditional pooling or crushing methods This shows this guy up for what he is. He alludes he's the expert but just like all rampers acting the knowledgeable poster, he falls at even the first hurdle on understanding the basics! even a completely deluded paid-up and drugged member of the CTL cult can see the obvious disparity in those two matters. 1. Extracting using DLE in q1 2023 2, DLE has never been used commercially due to extreme costs in it's usage. I will be issuing a report on CTL/ BEYOUND LITHUIM LLC. in the coming days when I get time/ for normal-minded people to make their own opinions. AIMHO MANDY | the_mandalorian

28/9/2022 05:54 | China has leapt a decade ahead of the competition with the EV's, the Europeans are playing catch up, as are the gas guzzling Yanks. The Europeans are now realising they can't rely on China and have to have their own giga factories and lithium supplies, something like 1 out of every 20 people in parts of Europe are directly or indirectly employed in the automotive industry, the car manufactures have woken up to the stark fact that if they don't move into the EV business, and invest billions, they will be out competed by the Chinese and either go out of businessor be acquired years down the line by the Chinese. The Chinese have been smart, they knew they could never compete with the internal combustion engine manufactures so they went straight to the EV's. This is not some grand scheme by the Chinese gov, but rather one which has been achieved by smart and hard working Chinese entrepreneurs who then had the backing and support of the gov and access to huge sums of money. More recently they have noted increasing competition from the West as they ramp up production, after a very slow start. The rate at which EV's of every kind, cars, busess, scooters and one day planes, is only going to increase. The world will consume more copper in the next few decades than it has done in the last few hundred. What the people who post negatively on these bb's can't comprehend is that for the next great leap in humankind to be achieved we need significantly more minerals and metals, lithium is but one part of that story. Additionally, in order to become more effecient new ways of getting these minerals will be required, such as increased automation through robotics, and breakthroughs in things like the speed at which these resources are mined. The DLE story is part of this, some get it, other don't. The shortsighted fools will try and silence people like me, but they can't ignore the fact that when they walk outstide they are seeing more and more EV's. It's happening, it's happening now and lithium and the DLE process are a part of it. | the count of monte_cristo
28/9/2022 05:11 | Here's an interesting post by Moneymetal on the LSE board referring to a Fox-Davies report: FD report says: Lithium – Supply Growth Unable to Match EV Demand The future of lithium demand is fundamentally tied to the continual growth of EVs/hybrids. We forecast that Li-ion batteries will account for >77% of all lithium consumption in 2022 (see Figure 10), the largest component of demand being EVs themselves. It is also important to realise that growth (in real terms) in usage is occurring in all other lithium segments as well. Current shortages are, in fact, a structural deficit, driven by growth in lithium consumption outstripping supplies, with our internal macro modelling showing that this structural deficit is unlikely to dissipate any time before 2030. ...Over the past several decades, China has strategically sought to dominate the lithium battery market. For example, CATL has emerged from nascent beginnings to become the world’s largest lithium manufacturer in under a decade. Whilst prices for lithium projects/companies were languishing during the last minerals downturn, the Middle Kingdom busied itself with acquiring all the earlier stage lithium projects it could. Despite only having 3% (see Figure 12) of global reserves, and approximately 14% of annual primary production (see Figure 11), due to its large domestic battery demand (72GWh), in 202011 China controlled ~80% of the world’s raw lithium refining, ~77% of the world’s cell capacity and ~60% of the world’s lithium component manufacturing. | axonic
28/9/2022 01:02 | Maiden resource estimate for Francisco basin due in a few weeks time. Let the naysayers, who have no imagination, claim that DLE isn't proven and doesn't work continue to post nonsense. The stock had a great run, the pull back is looking over done now and at a market cap of just 29m GBP the company is extremely cheap. What most people can't see is how the EV market is going to transform everything to do with metals, right now people are so focused on the short term day to day stuff, which stops them seeing the big picture of how this decade is going to see a massive change to the way we live our daily lives. Buy the things people need and the world needs lithium. Takes some imagination to do that though:) | the count of monte_cristo

26/9/2022 15:11 | A fair price is zero! Totally uninvestable until the company sets out exactly how the DLE method from their partner and lithium extraction process manager Beyond Lithium LLC works. Using my logic reason and common sense unless DLE works the company's plans are a busted flush. And for the reasons I have already explained above, it seems highly unlikely to me personly that this small entity Beyiond Lithuim LLC is sitting on the only commercial direct Lithium extraction (DLE) patent in the world worth $ billions when they could be selling it to the big mining boys for hundreds of millions $ a pop. Sorry, I will be the first to say I called this wrong, and happy to stand corrected but this is a totally bizarre and nebulous proposition in lithium extraction to me. aimho. | the_mandalorian
26/9/2022 14:55 | All views and opinions are welcome here sig. I must admit though I was hoping someone would actually articulate something about the company itself, and set out how CTL will achieve the planned production in Q1. Or the As yet unpatented miracle DLE tech they plan to use and indeed patent! What about a few words on the license issue and the Brine quota from the government and even the export issues, rather than that general "it will pay off" unsubstantiated blind faith statement? I don;t doubt you are sincere, however, I would love to hear how and why you believe the company will extract commercial lithium; that's the only way it could end up being "ok" for shareholders. Can you set out how you see how CTL will achieve this for us all please? | the_mandalorian
