Sorry guys but I’m disappointed in the newsflow here. First eluate expected in coming weeks?? Given the engineers were putting the plant together end of November I expected more. The fact the share price remains at historical lows suggests I’m not alone.
Great company, great concept, great management….. all just happening too dam slowly for me. |
It is good to receive an update and I agree with 888ICB in that the price does not in any way reflect the value that has been added. I have been topping up and encouraging other family members to as well. I am also keen to hear how the re-injection is working too. There is a relatively short time in mining timescales to production for us and so the short wait will be worth it and along the way there will be many catalysts (as well as hurdles). I look on the share price fall as a self-fulfilling prophecy. A good update! BWMM |
Yes, and we also now know an update on the DLE pilot plant will be released soon, probably this month by the sounds of it...
"Furthermore, we are expecting results from our DLE test work and first eluate production from our pilot plant in the coming weeks. We are looking forward to a busy and highly productive 2024." |
It is good to see the funds raised at the end of last year being put to use on the ground to commence a new drilling program. As has been pointed out the current lower lithium price is not relevant to CTL but has been used to pull down the price of all lithium companies. It’s what the lithium price is likely to be in 2025/26/27 that is important. CTL is right at the forefront of Chile’s new approach to lithium mining and the process by which it will be mined. CTL is not far away from proving its new technology on the ground. Once that has been proven the share price should start to seriously rerate and CTL will be looked at by some of the big boys who may be very interested in acquiring it. |

RNS out; nice progress |
CleanTech Lithium signs alliance with indigenous communities for co-developed mining model
10:16, 12th December 2023
Ercilia Araya Altamirano, Ancestral Authority of the Colla Pai-Ote community, said: "There is no precedent in the history of our territories where the door has been opened for us directly to participate in the design of a mining project to ensure it aligns with the ancestral inhabitants of the territory. This marks a historic milestone in our country, and we assume the responsibility to turn it into a new standard for lithium mining in the future." |
Let's hope not. This needs to be a lot higher before I want to see any bids. CTL is worth many multiples of the current share price in my opinion. However, we do need some news on the pilot rig, then we will see some improvement in the market cap. |
Do you think a hostile takeover would be successful? The board will not accept any offer just before the company starts bringing everything together so will not be easy. Any hostile bidder will need to start buying shares as well to get anywhere near the number they need to win a vote so will be very obvious. So no chance I reckon. |
Given the amount of interest in Chile all of a sudden, can anyone envisage a bid for CTL once the pilot plant has proved its efficiency and the CEOLs are granted? |
Should have an update soonThe final shipment for the DLE Pilot Plant has arrived in Chile and will be transported to CTL's warehouse facility in Copiapó where it will be assembled. Technicians from Sunresin are scheduled to visit at the end of November 2023 for the final testing and commissioning phase. |
Chile’s Codelco to control new lithium venture with miner SQM' It is interesting to note that in SQM’s announcement they include this statement:
“ This MoU constitutes a significant milestone in the process of discussions between both companies that began on May 31, 2023, and adds to the recent agreement reached on December 14, 2023, with the Council of Atacameño Peoples, to initiate a dialogue process and to establish a negotiation working group to discuss matters of sustainability, participation, transparency and access to information.”
CTL announced on the 12th December that they had signed the First ever agreement with the local people regarding lithium extraction. This demonstrates that CTL are right at the forefront of the new way of lithium development in Chile.
I expect that CTL will have news for us early in the New Year. |
The chart looks horrible. Hope we get some positive news soonish. |
Chile’s Codelco to control new lithium venture with miner SQM
.."The agreement should also provide a blueprint for Chile to begin awarding contracts to other companies that want to develop its lithium resources via public-private partnerships, analysts said". |
Some news out at Lake and a new presentation. |
Due to the slump in the lithium price. |
Why is this flat? |
