28/9/2005 14:36 | Nephin - This share is long term ,you get shares that shoot up in few days but you get your self bit, sooner or latter when they fall if you not happy sell out, only risk what you can afford to lose bin in this long time just got a felling something big going to happen. It may 6 months to year when it's full potential is realised | soysoy

27/9/2005 19:21 | soysoy: I know that this report looks promising, but how can it be any use to us holders if it has no affect on the share price? New York has been open for a good few hours now and CD hasn't sold one share - not one! Am I the only poster on this thread that finds the behavior of this share some what bizarre to say the least? 27/9/2005 18:44 | CLEAN DIESEL TECHNOLOGIES ACQUIRES WORLDWIDE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS TO LOW COST DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER TECHNOLOGY Company Will Offer Commercial Partnership Opportunities for Worldwide Manufacturing and Distribution Licenses STAMFORD, CT (September 27, 2005) ... Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (EBB:CDTI & AIM:CDT/CDTS), a developer of chemical and technological solutions to reduce harmful engine emissions, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with Mitsui and PUREarth that enables the complete transfer and assignment of the intellectual property rights for their innovative catalyzed wire-mesh filter (CWMF) technology to Clean Diesel Technologies. Under the agreement Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. ('CDT') has acquired the worldwide title to the patents and other intellectual properties, excluding Japan. As a result, CDT may now make this proven, low-cost diesel particulate filter technology available to its industry partners under license arrangements. The CWMF technology is designed for use in a wide range of diesel engine particulate-emission control applications. According to James Valentine, President, "This durable, patented low-cost filter design bridges the gap between low efficiency diesel-oxidation catalysts and expensive, heavily-catalyzed particulate filters. The wire-mesh filter system is designed to work synergistically with a fuel-borne catalyst (FBC) for reliable performance. This combined FBC/CWMF technology is especially suited to solving the challenging problem of delivering a reliable pollution control solution which can be easily retrofitted for the older, higher-emission diesel engines expected to be in service for years to come. CDT will be offering licensing opportunities and technology transfer programs for the CWMF technology to establish manufacturing and distribution partnerships that meet worldwide retrofit and original equipment manufacturer needs." The CWMF technology was initially developed by Mitsui/PUREarth for use in conjunction with Clean Diesel Technology's Platinum Plus(R) FBC as a lower cost and reliable alternative to the traditional heavily catalyzed filter systems. The system has been verified by CDT under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's rigorous Environmental Technology Verification protocol as reducing toxic particulates by up to 75%, carbon monoxide by 60%, hydrocarbons by 80%, and NOx by 9%. It also provides lower NO2 emissions levels relative to traditional, heavily catalyzed filter systems. In addition to reducing the cost to achieve these emissions improvements, the patented combination with a FBC permits the CWMF to operate effectively at the lower exhaust temperatures found in stop-and-go service applications. The FBC reduces the engine-out emissions and allows soot captured in the CWMF to be reliably combusted at lower exhaust temperatures. Commercial systems of Platinum Plus FBC with this durable CWMF have demonstrated performance in beverage delivery vehicles, refuse trucks and buses. The Platinum Plus FBC, used with the filter system, may be easily introduced into bulk-fuel supplies or through individual vehicle mounted on-board dosing systems. CDT recently announced an agreement with Fleetguard to blend and distribute the Platinum Plus products in the U.S. and internationally. While the initial target is for retrofit applications, there may also be opportunities to integrate the system into new vehicle designs wherever a low-cost diesel particulate filter solution is required. - ENDS - | soysoy
27/9/2005 14:07 | You need to VERY careful with placing any credence on values from the US OTC market. It is far less liquid than AIM and gives freak values, and hence freak "differentials". It is also notorious for P&Ds. | wiganer

23/9/2005 19:09 | maestro: I understand your enthusiasm for this share but my point is this: If CD went up by 100% in New York tonight it would make no difference at all to the price in London - if you remember rightly it went up by 50% in one go just recently but what happened to the price over here? - it went down. I am only basing my attitudes on what is actually happening to CD - not what we would like to happen - I respect your opinions but I think that you are swimming against the tide - and we all know what happens to swimmers that do that. I wish that I could share your enthusiasm in this matter - but common sense and hard facts are against you. Nephin | nephin
23/9/2005 18:24 | I've been watching this share for a few weeks now and I've come to the conclusion that there is absolutely no connection what so ever between the share price in London and the price in the States, they must be completely different shares. And when I read back through the recent optimistic reports on the technology of CD I'm starting to think that they could have been written by a back office junior who has had one drink too many in his lunch hour. Is there any real hope for this share or are we all just a sad bunch of Rainbow Chasers? I thought that being in TFC was bad enough, but this one is ten times worse - at least TFC actually moved up a fraction on the odd occasion Nephin | nephin
22/9/2005 23:09 | Maestro you are eternally optimisitic may be England will win the world cup under SVEN in 2006 or maybe cdt may get an order in 2006. I have no doubt that if they can get orders the shares will rocket. I have no doubt that if the dont get orders the shares will plummet. It is a race between running out of money and therefore further diluting sharholder value or getting sales revenue. | atlantic1953

Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (EBB:CDTI & AIM:CDT/CDTS), a developer of chemical and technological solutions to reduce harmful engine emissions, today announced new European licensing opportunities for combination EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology for NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) reduction, following a European patent grant. A similar U.S. patent has already been granted. Clean Diesel Technologies will be showcasing this new technology as part of its suite of emissions control solutions at SAE International's Heavy Duty Diesel Emissions Control Symposium in Gothenburg, Sweden, from September 20 - 22, 2005. This conference will focus on the latest emissions-control research and development, and examine how it affects the environmental impact of heavy-duty vehicles. Clean Diesel Technologies views its EGR-SCR patent as fundamental for vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers, and will make these intellectual property rights widely available for evaluation and development under research and commercial licenses. With 350,000 new heavy duty vehicles on sale every year in Europe, truck and car manufacturers need to achieve high levels of NOx emission reductions to meet forthcoming Euro V and VI legislation. Clean Diesel's new license combining EGR and SCR is an attractive approach to meet upcoming legislation while also optimizing fuel economy. This intellectual property complements Clean Diesel's ARIS(R) SCR airless injection and control suite of technologies, which are also available for license for a wide range of applications. The ARIS technology encompasses robust designs for SCR systems, including its unique coverage of return flow, cooled urea injection for NOx control. Dr. Bernhard Steiner, CEO of Clean Diesel, said, "This is a fundamental step forward for both Clean Diesel Technologies and the global market. Combining EGR with SCR broadens the duty range within which NOx reduction can be achieved, allowing for better fuel economy and reduced urea consumption associated with SCR. Regulators look towards global technologies such as this to gauge what levels of emission reduction are possible and to help set future performance targets - in turn driving forward the whole marketplace." Clean Diesel is highlighting these technologies and more at the SAE International Gothenburg Symposium: hddec/ | maestro. |
