sidewinder2,

As a matter of fact I bought 3,000 or so 'i' shares or 'S' shares as you delineate them. However, we are agreed on the ease of the change. One needs merely to bang the broker on the head. This usually has no effect upon its brain since of course there typically isn't one.

Evil misquotes - they are actually "S" shares not "i" shares. The "S" shares were originally issued in private placements outside the US to avoid the costs and delays of applying to the SEC, these shares had a restriction against being able to be sold to a US resident for two years from the date of issue. At the time of the NASDAQ listing it was agreed by the SEC that the "S" shares could become fully tradeable. However holders of the "S" shares have to get the company to certify to the registrars that that it is in order for them to issue new shares, of which there is now only one class, in exchange for the old "S" share certificates. Due to red tape with the registrars they will not acceopt a blanket instruction and want verification from the company on a case by case basis. Anyhow there are very few "S" shares traded so it is actually nonsense to tell people to buy them. The fact that there are any traded at all is due to the sheer incompetence of certain brokers. One would be lucky to pick up 500 shares. If there were any significant amount on offer I would buy them myself.

Can someone explain what Evil is saying:

"And I urge sensible people everywhere to pick up Clean Diesel i-shares- currently c. 850p to buy - since they can be sold for 1200p in a few weeks' time when converted to the full status. If your broker is too lazy, sack him."

US Institutional Analyst, H.C. Wainwright & Co Inc, were reported in the latest edition of Business Week as raising their twelve month price target from $31 to $35. As a substantial long term holder, having spent many hours on research, I remain extremely confident that we have a major company in the making and am confidently looking to a share price comfortably in excess of $100 well within a three year time scale.

Clean Diesel Technologies "buy," target price raised

Thursday, October 04, 2007 3:58:22 PM ET

First Berlin

NEW YORK, October 4 (newratings.com) - Analyst Meghan Moreland of First Berlin maintains his "buy" rating on Clean Diesel Technologies Inc (ticker: CDTI). The target price has been raised from $16.50 to $18.50.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that Clean Diesel particulate matter reduction technology is eligible for retrofit use in commercial Vehicles, under London's Low Emission Zone standards. Clean Diesel Technologies has already received initial orders for Purifier, its LEZ solution, the analyst says. Similar emission-reduction plans are likely to be implemented through the rest of Europe and in Asian cities in the medium term, First Berlin adds.

Successful exercise of Series A Warrants. CDT now has another $7 million in cash on the balance sheet and is in a strong financial position. Listing on NASDAQ at the end of August will open the market to US mutual funds who cannot buy BB stocks. Very positive analysis by leading US Institutional Analyst, H.C. Wainwright & Co Inc., forcasting 107% increase in share price, to $31, in 12 months following NASDAQ listing and earnings of £3.29 per share, on very conservative basis, for 2009. Wide very positive coverage now appearing in US technical press. License agreement with Bosch was the critical and major breakthrough, other Tier I suppliers were said to be in negotiation at the AGM, they cannot afford not to be able to offer airless injection system which is now being marketed to OEMs by Bosch incorporating ARIS and EGR/SCR, which are CDT patents licensed to Bosch. Strong share price performance following NASDAQ listing can be sure as Mutual Funds and private investors take positions. Expect news of more licensing agreements with OEMs and Tier I suppliers and retro-fit contracts for London LEZ.

With Bosch signing up for the ARIS (advanced reagent injection system) on a non-exclusive basis this is the only reagent injection system that does not require a seperate air compressor and is cheaper to manufacture and install, requires less space, less maintenance and is more reactive than compessed air systems and is fully protected by European and US patents. It will undoubtedly be the platform of choice for all NOx control systems in the light and medium duty markets and most likely in the heavy duty market as well. The CEO said at the AGM that he anticipated other Tier I suppliers to sign licences for use of the technology in the near future. All light and medium duty vehicles, as well as heavy duty, will have to be fitted with NOx reduction technology over the next three years, starting this year, giving a total annual market of between 10 million and 12 million engines a year to use this technology.

My average in price is £1.26p
I averaged down when the S stock hit an all time low some time ago.
I have enough of this stock to make a tidy pension fund out of it IF IT COMES GOOD.
I agree with Mr Cs optimism above.
This is one stock that to short would be VERY DANGEROUS at the moment.
The large number of warrants out there which are ALL IN THE MONEY as we post worry me.
But this company have never worried about diluting long term, shareholders.
There is either one massive hype of this companys potential and technology going on OR it really may be the FUTURE of Diesel climate control and Fuel efficiency.
Bosch have voted with a signature and Mr S says others WILL follow!
