Don't forget that the company has 363m shares in issue, of which 194m are held by 3 company directors so there's not huge amount of shares out there as a % of the total equity.

I don't know any news.

But for this volume there must be something positive happening.

It could be one of the following

1) Positive news regarding the Zhengeldy oil field licence appeal in Kazakhstan.
2) Positive news about USA holdings
3) Sale of Zhengeldy equipment pending appeal.

I have posted these questions so new visitors to the board can get some idea about the comany.

I look forward to an RNS to clarify what the news is.

I don't adam and eve it!! I have never ever bought a share and seen it go 102% within 10 mins of buying. I owned this a while ago and went into an old account and had 20 quids worth sitting there, i thought i'll add to this, but got annoyed when the trade wouldnt quote at 1p this am. had to pay 1.15 but increased trade value then. it wasnt even showing in my portfolio and the screen was ticking up. but then i tried to sell and again it wouldnt quote, was 1.8 and by the time it quoted was 1.3! needless to say i am still a holder, not that i intended a day trade but i did truely get tempted
