and you see its illiquidity, moves rapidly on low volume (eg ca Jan 2006 going from 10p to 30p in next to no time)

Looks like last time with a stack of buys going through on the back of nothing more than a rise in the share price...interesting to see that 1m sell at the end though....hate to say it but it looks like MMs have worked this like a dream and got takers for their big seller....hope I'm wrong though.

It's an out and out punt on MM pulling one last rabbit out of the hat. He may or may not find a buyer for those Khazak assets...I doubt if he will ever be allowed to operate there again so he must be in a pretty weak negotiating position there unless he gets very lucks and gets 2 competing offers which seems unlikely.

Well that results RNS was sneaked out last night...seems like no one noticed...then again the content was hardly worth reading....company says it is still trying to sell its assets and if that doesn't materialise they will look to raise cash! Anyone know how on earth they will get that?

Trading Update

Further to the announcement of 22 May 2009, Caspian Holdings (AIM:CSH) (the
"Company"), the oil and gas development company with assets in the USA and
Kazakhstan provides the following update.

Following the successful passing of resolutions put to shareholders at the
Company's Annual General Meeting on 29 June 2009, the Company has focused on
progressing options to sell both core and non-core field equipment at the
Zhengeldy field.

After some short administrative delays, this initiative is proceeding forward
and the Company anticipates that results will be reported during the September
Quarter 2009 and will keep the market and shareholders informed on developments.
