Excuse me, sorry to go all moral on this, but if you want to advertise your business why not offer to pay ADVFN to do so? Would you be trying to promote it for free if you had not come up with the idea of using Children in Need? I do not think it necessarily a good idea to send-out the message that charity CAN be about making money as well as giving it.

I give by direct debit monthly to three cancer related charities already as well. I see no problem in business promotion which helps charities and theres a long way to go til friday

another day, another rise as the spread shrinks. FYI, my broker will currently take 20,000 off me at 54.4p (note bid is 52p!) and only sell me 5,000 at 57.8p.... they are clearly looking to shake some sellers out...

Oxiana still going well, now at $A 1.12. COL held 1.74m at the end of March.
This is down from 2.9m at March 2002. Not sure about the Oxiana options but
2.6m were held March 2002.

Interestingly my online broker will only sell me 5000 shares but will buy 25000 off me at 47.7p (bid currently 45p).

Normally they will only offer to buy a 1000 off me - either they are looking to cover a short position or something is afoot...

There could be some corporate activity - the mining PR company still interests me - with mining so hot at the moment, surely more could be made of this. Does anyone else think that this company could be turned into a mining finance house, like Cambrian Mining?

Yes, very interesting. There must be some attraction for the investors - second bunch in at 65p - massive premium to a couple of days ago.

Fantastic RNS today - 10% issued to investors at 65p! NAV at end Sept was 55p plus more since... i see only good news and what do the shares do
