Help Needed from my Northern Buddies.(Urgently)

A friend of ours has asked me to buy a personalised number plate for her husband as a surprise.

The DVLA auction for this number plate is in Harrogate tomorrow.

I read that I could bid on the internet, but have now discovered that you have to pre-register to be allowed to bid, which I didn't know.

Short of driving up to Harrogate tomorrow to bid, does anyone who lives near Harrogate fancy earning themselves a little xmas bonus and going along and bidding for me ?

I have been asked to bid upto £5000, so it does require a fair bit of trust!

Look on the bright side though...if I let you down you've got a nice personalised number plate as security !(I won't, of course)

Scuba, Ivor....any cares ?

LOL!

In my local Town, they laid a load of block paving with bronze-covered 'interceptor' type drains.

2 days later lots of people were falling down lots of holes

Pikeys eh? where would we be without 'em?

Shhhh the recycle bit was supposed to be secret, bit like my business idea for 'bling' drain covers, gateposts and gates.
