LOL! or under 0.003mm* of tarmac.

* = Top Class Job, skin.

A certain Mr. Doo will doubtless suggest disposal at sea, close by Brighton.

LOL!

There are only 8 sites in the UK which have licences for hazardous waste disposal, and our boys own 2, with the possibility of more to follow.

Local councils, whilst accepting the principle of seperate hazardous waste facilities, seem, as a group, to be adopting the nimby principle.

Personally, I'm all for using one town as the national toxic dump centre...perhaps somewhere like Hull, where it may improve the place.

Ta, Mike, that's mostly available on the DEFRA site.
I asked because a near neighbour is in HSE & I was quizzing him about this subject. His 'take' was (a) find out what each licence per site covers it for dumping, (b) there is as much dosh involved transporting the stuff as dumping it (c) who's dealing with the really nasty stuff and where.
All of which has set me off on a rather long journey......
Regards,
M.Palin

Not really.

But waste which is hazardous, but not radioactive, probably sums it up nicely.

TVs, fridges, asbestos etc.

The Environment Agency website will tell you all.

Mike:
have you got any definitions of 'hazardous waste' for the 2 sites recently purchased by a certain company?
Cheers,
H.

P.S. Seb - excellent footie post. Sums it all up really. I won't be at all surprised to discover that a few of the current load of ponces are advertising Dove skincare products or hairspray on their shirts...

I was listening to a rugby 2003 world cup cd earlier.

I do believe that the Welsh National Anthem is the best in the world.

Its just a shame about the rest.....

Good luck with the presentation.
