I think it's been posted before but the last interim webcast gives all the details need. It's pretty self explanatory in terms of products and strategy. If they are successful and continue to hit the numbers. We will all do very well. https://www.circassia.com/media/webcasts-audio/

AAZ had a forced seller in 2016. A major shareholder was getting squeezed in a divorce and had to sell all the time when there simply weren't buyers. The share price went down to 4/5p. Then, once he was finished, accompanied by the company turning the corner, the share price rocketed to around £1.40 now. The combination of a forced seller leaving and a company being rerated is about the most powerful combination you can get, as the share price goes from being massively undervalued to possibly/hopefully overvalued very quickly. With a new board, revenues growing quickly and new products being launched, this is a very exciting opportunity imo.

Overhangs also occur during profit taking after a good rise. PTAL (Petrotal) has risen from 15p to 30p and some large holders are selling down and so currently the price is hovering around the 30p levels while they sell.

The company is in superb shape, no debt, generating loads of cash, currently producing over 10K bopd and will aim to be at 20K bopd by the end of Q3 2020. Share price should move up solidly once the seller or sellers clear.

As with CIR, its just patience thats needed.

Nogger99, TRX will definitely have a placing, it’s stated in black and white. Until that happens it’s uninvestable as far as I’m concerned. It was a great trade at 0.53p when Invesco exited in November, and could be again in the future if sales increase & funding is sorted. Therein lies the danger with overhangs; they are all different and it’s very difficult to time your entry perfectly - far better watching, waiting & researching then trying to guess.

Back on topic, Circassia had a fantastic week; Invesco surely below 10m shares after the volume yesterday. There were 211 non AT trades yesterday which is the most in the last 3 months. However we’re still well under the radar on Twitter with virtually no mentions. I’d expect at least a 10% day when Invesco has cleared which will increase our profile - it’s been such a stealthy rise of late. In terms of overhang timing, now is the time to enter if you haven’t already IMO

John - I'm not ramping (indeed I post very rarely), but I feel that a similar ex Woodford stock is TRX. The overhang must now be almost gone (Woodford/Link), and OK, there might be a placing, but I think this will multibag over the next few years. LTH

How common are overhang situations. I guess similar opportunities are available with other ex woodford darlings like allied minds

Overhangs in good companies create one of the best plays in the market and this is so with CIR.

The Abbot and Pro~s2009- At the risk of being red-marked by one or two unhappy souls, I wanted to thank you both for your positivity and clarity. I think it was you, The Abbot, who remained calm and constructive when the chips were really down and helped me keep the faith. Thank you !

I am almost feeling sad for Invesco with their liquidity pressures forcing them to sell a beaten-down company with a newly installed dream team and so much potential!
As you have said, The Abbot, the Woodford/Invesco sell-off has been to our advantage.

I sincerely wish every possible good fortune to all.

Worth remembering that Invesco are forced sellers of a host of UK pharma small caps . After the Woodford debacle they are concerned not only about illiquidity in open ended funds , but also the embarrassment of holding so many of the same companies as Woodford , which are in collective freefall. It is in their reputational interest to get rid of them at any price, even at the expense of value for fund holders . At least in Circassia , unlike some of their other holdings , they and Woodford have had no problem offloading stock to a lot of shrewd institutions and individuals . With Circassia on a very predictable route to the profitability this is the perfect angle to profit from the Woodford meltdown

A breakout to new 50 day highs on rising volume. A close here and breakout / momentum buyers may look to take positions.

This is like a feeding frenzy with the Invesco shares being gulped up. We should get a very strong move when they are done

I topped up too to celebrate, the question is do we hold a leaving party for Invesco when their final 4% departs these shores and these are back at 40p?
