Took an initial position here at 22p as per the post on the 10th Jan.

Been looking at all the Woodford and Invesco overhang plays. Often get a nice pop when the overhang clears. Looks like Invesco have around 25 million to go so possibly abit of a short term weakness (perhaps take the price down a tad and place the lot at 22p) until they clear.

Could be setting up very well for a nice rise after. Only a trade for me but we'll see how it goes.

Whilst on the topic of overhangs, JKX overhang likely cleared yesterday and the stock is testing a key point just like CIR. Took a few there today. Both speculative stocks but very interesting chart plays.

Despite the remnants of any overhang Invesco have been reducing rapidly and various institutions have been buying just as rapidly. Chart wise it's quite common for a share price to take a breather after three gaps up, but yesterdays movement was pretty lame in comparison and indicates continued buying, support and confidence.

Overhangs are overhangs - all you can do is sit and wait patiently for them to clear and then enjoy that sudden massive move upwards when it does clear.

In my portfolio currently there is CIR and PTAL - both with overhangs - both waiting to jump massively higher. Might take a week, maybe a few weeks, maybe a month, maybe two........but when that overhang clears then the price should rocket.

Key event for CIR will be the outlook statement in the results. Key event for PTAL will be reserves upgrade around /March/April.

I estimate both those key events will see the final clearing of overhangs and then the rerating of the share prices.

Great news to see Invesco down to 7.22%, add in the daily mail article which will generate more interest & I’d say it was another good day here. I’m intrigued as to how the share price will react with no overhang...

Maybe a little bit of short term weakness but if buys circa 2,000,000 keep flowing through then we should have support too.

This is a very informative BB and i took a starter position on the bell this morning after a weekend of research. I lost a fair chunk on Cir back in 2016 but it looks primed for significant profitable growth now which is not priced in. Hoping to make my money back this year!
