I'm happy short. The future of the industry is obvious. Yes there is a place for cinemas but not this many on this valuation. Streaming is coming.EV of £7bn!! And they just gifted 10% of equity to bond holders. I'm not sure why equity is worth more than a few pence.

I’m not even shorting. I just recognise madness.
The number of times I discussed SXX financing on their board, and obtained similar responses as your own, madness.

WB stated last night that the cinemas are the big profit
maker. As I have said I accept both sides, no need for
the smart laugh, not a good trait.

You are happy short I am happy long.

dyor as you do.

The big releases next year will be massive.

SRP, how many empty sheds are you invested in at the moment?
If I build a few will you invest in my business? Lol.

Yes that’s a good business model, buy lots of empty sheds just as streaming service takes off.

I think some people panic sold too cheap and then opened a CFD gamble short position at probably around 59p and are now getting burned... double slap in the face.

Off for a cuppa... don't panic

I bought at 59p I even think we will finish blue today.

Next news is what is going to happen now with industry, everyone knows
streaming and cinemas together, great work together and
consolidation will begin.
Amazon to buy cine for the US cinemas they wanted in 2018.

How much did these guys lose on Debenhams, Sirius Minerals and NMC?
smartie6
04/12/2020
08:43
Lol.
I can’t believe you’re selling a great buying price.
This share price should be closer to 20p than 80p.
Look at all the Debenhams, Sirius Minerals, and NMC gamblers going in. Same names and same old BS.
DYOR.

Streaming deal only temporary while cinemas are closed and max for 1 year...

SP at 30% - yes it's a bit of a temporary knock but so is Covid lol Market are not stupid they look forward and a bargain is a bargain. Don't panic.

Higher than yesterdays opening... those who panic sold and are now deramping - will regret it

Shorters rubbing their hands and increasing 444 entries this morning

There will be a few bargain hunters first thing I'm guessing likely to finish on its low at the weekend.

Cineworld are not going to benefit from the new Wonder Woman Movie at all by being closed

Stealive, to make a profit you need to have demand for your product to outweigh your costs. Can’t increase prices anymore.
With the excessive costs this business as any move to streaming kills it.
A number of you on here are really really worried now, we can smell it.

smartie6 - au contraire, I think people might be desperate to get out after all this working from home stuff ! It's more the debt levels here that put me off from investing.

Any argument to the contrary is moot. You know it, only because you’ve made a bad investment are you arguing to the contrary. Time to wake up.

Bit harsh. Was not a knock. Ciniworld have funding until May 2021 and with HBO streaming new films I was simply asking if it was being priced out.

Lol. Mister MD.
Haven’t you noticed people have now got wise. You spend less by having nice meals at home, you spend less not going to the cinema, you spend less by buying through the internet. Less hassle and great memories with family and friends.
Over time by saving on time, petrol, parking, etc. Etc. You can pay off a mortgage or get yourself out of debt much much earlier.
