Mind you there are a few of them- i visited the house of Commons a few years ago as part of a delagation, I let Mr Tyrie know as he is my MP- Not even an auto reply!!

Here he decides to quote Goebbels to support his point, gets caught parking in a disabled parking bay, turns up late for his first parliamentary speech causing it to be cancelled and makes comments in a murder trial that could have led to it being derailed!

Thanks Carlo, all a joint effort with good posters such as yourself and Debbie running an excellent thread. I agree that Govt ministers will just evade and ignore, I will be disappointed if Hilary Benn doesn't take an interest in this. It's a great opportunity for him to score political points by suggesting that it's a myth that the tories are more inclined to protect British international interests and small business in general.

Thank you for all your excellent work on behalf of all of us PI's. I have a sense that the press and the opposition are the paths to pursue rather than the Government directly (sad to say) as they have an "interest" in exposing the pathetic attitude of the ruling party.

Hilary Benn, Mirror, Express, Labour party press officer, Ben Bland who covers Indonesia for the FT & the Huffington Post editor all contacted. Eventually someone will take this up I suspect. Who knows they might even buy shares in CHL :)

FidraIf that's the case, why don't GOI negotiate a settlement with chl, surely non compliance will lead to them paying much more compensation.Im sure the Indonesians are really embarrassed by these allegations.
