28/4/2016 07:50 | pat, But it's still real money! Does anyone know if you can still spreabdbet CHL? last time I checked IG weren't allowing any new positions, probably around a year ago. | andy
27/4/2016 19:52 | send a copy to clifford chance, they might even pay you for it,they will probably charge it to the company,at a premium | trjones2
27/4/2016 18:48 | Unless a politician is directly involved in a subject they rely on 'advisors' who probably only do a bit of research and give the politician an answer. I doubt very much that he wrote the replies but hopefully he did actually look at them before they went out! WG | weegeordie
27/4/2016 17:54 | I dont believe anybody could have done a better job than Masarap but the more the merrier if anybody else wants to write a letter. | debbiegee
27/4/2016 17:11 | Goverment will not do nothing unless you guys do a epetition...Or get your local mp to raise the issue in the commons.. | neo26
27/4/2016 17:02 | Masarap Brilliant set of posts. Thank you for taking the time to write these emails to the government. Incredible reply. | pb01
27/4/2016 15:41 | ROI are behavin like spoilt children, clearly you can see assets being stripped unlawfully.I dont know if i had a strong case i wouldnt default on the issue. Ill take it all the way.I mean this is embarrassing.. | neo26
27/4/2016 15:14 | Europe are also signing a treaty with Indonesia ,I suppose they may also be interested in recent Roi behavour? | debbiegee
27/4/2016 15:14 | Masarap 27 Apr'16 - 14:50 - 3680 of 3680 2 0 ............What an opportunity in the context of the forthcoming Brexit EU poll for Cameron to show how he has used EU support to help British business. Seems he and his envoy for Indonesia want to shirk repsonsibility though. That's a very good point Masarap - I hadn't thought of it in those terms. Politicians today (of all parties) are a complete waste of space, as Mr Graham has conclusively demonstrated. They all seem more interested in feathering their nests at public expense and avoiding anything awkward than doing the jobs they were elected to do. David Cameron is too short sighted to even see how he could advance his own cause here, as you suggest. Do keep up the good work. The nature of my day job forbids me from engaging / lobbying as you are doing, but I commend you for your efforts. The BOD and CHL shareholders generally are indebted to you. FC | flyingc
27/4/2016 14:50 | Reesy, yes I'll try and pursue it and find an interested party whether it be a govt minister, my constituency MP, a member of the opposition or a journalist covering the subject area and geographical region. Your point about not wanting to damage trade interests is good and I have made the point to Richard Graham that UK / Indonesia relations in trade and security can flourish, however, it's not helpful to British businesses to encourage them into transactions when he knows, given the current violation by Indonesia, they may struggle to get protection under the Bilateral Investment Treaty. All it needs is quiet diplomacy from the Govt. and some support from the EU in terms of slowing down the trade deal currently being negotiated with ROI unless they toe the line on a Bilateral Investment Treaty with the UK. What an opportunity in the context of the forthcoming Brexit EU poll for Cameron to show how he has used EU support to help British business. Seems he and his envoy for Indonesia want to shirk repsonsibility though. | masarap
27/4/2016 14:44 | Well considering they spent c.$67m in exploration and feasibility studies in east kutai. Along with their court fees, this will total roughly $90m.So churchill will definately get AT LEAST 90m dollars. :-) | neo26
27/4/2016 14:33 | Ok Thank you debbiegee and neo26. I guess the hurdle is to win the case and the amount of any potential win, should the court find CHL's claim justified. | nick rubens
27/4/2016 13:50 | Nick RubensThey will be forced to pay, the tribunal has the authority to strip national assets. The question everyone should be asking how much will they get.£200m should suffice... | neo26
27/4/2016 13:50 | Reesy, let others do the running around for you, i think thats counter productive, but no bother, keep your instructions coming,. | stephen1946
27/4/2016 13:46 | Nick,if we win an award ROI will have no choice to pay up and if not their national assets can be seized. DYOR | debbiegee
27/4/2016 13:42 | Stephen No As tempting as that course of action might seem it would probably be counter productive. The email was addressed to Masarap and is therefore solid evidence Once BB speculation starts to encroach the message gets diluted. If Masarap wants me to write I certainly will but right now I think it would be a mistake | reesyheli
27/4/2016 13:21 | Will the ROI even pay up anyway? | nick rubens
27/4/2016 13:18 | Reesy, take it you will be writing to jezzy with your/our thoughts? | stephen1946

27/4/2016 12:04 | Jeeez Debbie said this Debbie said that , get over it pat. It never fails to amuse me how you launch endless personal attacks on people just because you cant pick a decent stock. Have you really nothing more interesting in your life than moan about other people ? Bet you wish you hadn't sold your house now on the prediction of a market crash of 70%, 8 months ago :-( | blackss |
