On a separate note, I suspect the reason for the ROI's delaying tactics is not so much to do with hoping CHL will run out of money or throw the towel in, but keeping it going as long as possible to deter other investors from pursuing the same course. One of the reasons given by Nat Rothschild for accepting a fractional rebate on his/the shareholders investment was the length of time it would take for a just settlement through the courts.

In some ways a win for the ROI would be worse than loosing! If they're worried about loss of investment now, who's going to touch them with a barge pole if they win? It will open the flood gates with multiple Regent's revoking permits in a massive resource grab! They'll sneak out during the night, cut down some trees and blame the foreign investor.

There is no question of forgery and I don't see why it should take long time to prove the authenticity of the documents. It's just political posturing and delaying tactics, hoping CHL will run out of money or throw in the towel, though neither is plausible. I see an out of court settlement for probably less than half the amount CHL are claiming. Still good for shareholders. Waited so long, another few months will not make much difference. Good Luck.

Good post, yes this has been going on for a while.
The article is from last week.
I wonder how long it will take to sort ?
At the moment some are asking him to stand down but surely this is corruption and chargeable ?

These articles all in our favour as the world looks on and sees the true colours of the regime IMOit should help ISCID to make their minds up as to who is telling the truth.

ASif they need anymore evidence LOL !!!

This is supposed to be good for Jokowi, and his agenda. Perhaps once the old guard discredited he can kitchen sink this, without losing face so he can get on with encouraging inward investment.

rossannan - 07 Dec 2015 - 14:09 - 808 of 809 - 0I believe you, but I'm not sure that your informants had good grounds for being so bullishly specific on timing.RossannonIf the chairman and non executive ceo don't know what's going on, then who does?Whilst I disagree with your timings , I respect your thoughts and your decision to not fully engage here. That is your choice.I hope you respect ours.

Having read all the posts, the RNS's and taking into account settlement talks announced last summer in conjunction with likely timescales for ICSID adjudications, I am confident this will all be done and dusted by Christmas. Which one? I haven't a clue.

I don't usually post on here and thought it would be good to post what I heard. I'm not bothered whether you or anyone believes me. I went to London so that I could make a solid decision for me. What you do is not my business and if you feel 9 to 12'months then that is fine by me but I'm not out to see who is wrong or right, I'm just out to do some research to make some money.

They told me the next news is on document authenticity then the whole thing to be finished by June. So you reckon document authenticity will take the courts till June to deliberate? I don't think so.

If the ruling comes soon, then there are only the merits left I think. Can it all be done for June? Who knows. When I read through the above posts, I do get questions popping up. If Churchill win the next round, they stated they are holding out for the full amount. If that is the case, depending on how damning the report is, the ROI may think it worthwhile to stay on till the end of the merits to see if a lower offer is made by the tribunal. They would have nothing to lose.
