In view of large fall in oil price this week and the continued strength of Sterling against the dollar I am surprised that there has not been a positive impact on the share price bearing in mind 5this company's fuel costs.Delayed action to be expected perhaps?

I do not think that Wincanton will make a bid for Salvesen. The share price of SVC is much too high - anything below 44p can trigger bid rumours - SVC has to sort out their in-house problems before anyone would bid for them.

Press comment in todays Express I beleive that WIN are to make a bid for SVC after announcing their results next Thursday.

Anyone have any views on this rumour??
