Interesting recovery after a dramatic fall when the offer talks were terminated. Does anyone know if there are more offers on the way?

Over 5 mil shares bought yesterday and little interest so far today, are we to expect an MBO at around 60p with the family backing or will it be a MBI with a vulture fund, time will tell

It isn't that there is a stack of interest(c750000 shares traded all day) The reason the share rocketed was a series of largeish buys that seemed to start at 4.00pm. Who would that be? a fund who had heard the dividend is safe or someone buying the company. Time will tell

The Telegraph under 'Directors buys' says best to sell today in spite of Director buying over the last couple of weeks...My personal view is that we have seen the lows..

energyi:- You have said it all. With customers like Tesco, J.Sainsbury and Marks&Spencer small logistics companies have no clout. IMO Salvensen will continue to be pressurised - remember there are always other companies to handle warehousing and delivery. Just my opinion of the major mults having seen them screw most suppliers into the ground.

Not sure if Salvesen have any exposure to AHOLD if so likely to be even worse news.

Took my profits as L2 started to come off a little.

Still 4 on bid though and 4 offer at 33-36p.
