14/5/2003 16:55 | It isn't that there is a stack of interest(c750000 shares traded all day) The reason the share rocketed was a series of largeish buys that seemed to start at 4.00pm. Who would that be? a fund who had heard the dividend is safe or someone buying the company. Time will tell | nonic

02/3/2003 19:20 | True, P. But there must be a price at which SVC is an irresistable bargain. I plan to come back & review thsi from time-to-time | energyi
02/3/2003 19:16 | energyi:- You have said it all. With customers like Tesco, J.Sainsbury and Marks&Spencer small logistics companies have no clout. IMO Salvensen will continue to be pressurised - remember there are always other companies to handle warehousing and delivery. Just my opinion of the major mults having seen them screw most suppliers into the ground. Not sure if Salvesen have any exposure to AHOLD if so likely to be even worse news. | pugugly
