FYI .. I have been in touch with the company and they will be updating the website in coming weeks with photos from Pakrut so, we know what it looks like from a satellite & soon we'll be able to see what it looks like from the ground.

Maybe then, folk will begin to appreciate the true scale of this company and the Pakrut mine

Meanwhile, Gold climbs higher into the $1,740's today on its march to take out $1,900 later this year

pretty damn good timing for CNG to be moving on from 50koxz towards 75koz & then 100koz.

Gold is more than $300/oz than they had planned/expected at this stage of the mine production/development. That's $16m+ Revs per year more than planned

We'll just have to see jeanesy. As you know, I am not a trader and invest for the longer term - typically 3-5 years+This seems overlooked and ridiculously cheap on the basis of today's performance, let alone the well flagged expansion over the next 18 months & the other resources on the company's doorstep.Just have to keep a look out for opportunities with the spread as it is just now ... there is a scalper on both sides of the book at present.

Some very informative posts Matt, thank you. It seems like you strongly believe in this one. Time will tell and perhaps it will get noticed next month if the figures are as good as you are expecting, but at the moment not many seem to be listening. The volume traded is at best pathetic on most days which may/may not be due to the spread. I hope your faith is rewarded.

Buyer is just probing this every now and then with little AT Trades to try & mark the price up and to encourage sellers, imo.
If you can buy 750 shares at 15p to encourage some selling and be on Bid at same time to collect 20k for 12.8p then you're getting the stock at a good average on the day.

Impatient / unaware sellers are having the stock "stolen" off them, imo

Finally getting a little selling volume as we attack the 15p level .. not much but, have to try and take everything that comes up because i think only the short-sighted selling at these prices.

Thanks for this. Am just wondering what is the next news and when. The paucity of company info along with rep. Of many Chinese companies on aim is no doubt affecting the rating.

I am patient and can hold. With news / confirmation of progress I might add more.

i do not know what the necessary catalyst will be or exactly when (i'd suggest next financial results will certainly help) but, in the meantime, i cannot determine any sensible (non-xenophobic) reason why the market is not valuing this company for less than $150m.

Unless something or someone can persuade me otherwise, I keep it as a buy until at least that valuation arrives.

you cannot tar everyone with the same brush.

eg. West China Cement was as 'Chinese' as could be & many people would not touch it for that reason. That did not stop the company becoming hugely successful and becoming one of the AIM Market 'darlings' in a rise from 50p to over £7 before it left the UK for a listing in Hong Kong - where it still resides and has been paying dividends ever since.

WCC had all the 'red flags' that people could think of in 2009: Concentrated share ownership, related party transactions, debt, no institutional investors, very little published research, HQ'd in Xi-an - W. China etc etc.
Given the shortcomings of other Chinese listed companies since 2009, I doubt anyone would touch it with a bargepole now but, it was lead by a man with vision, integrity and hard-work ethic & the management team was very competent & the business grew rapidly into a very profitable larger concern.

In the case of CNG, CNMIM have played things with a dead-straight bat since they took over from the Kryso management - who were never, ever going to be capable or have access to the $'s required to bring Pakrut into a production Gold mine.
We are not just poking holes in the ground and offering up 20m of 6g/t ore samples here like most other penniless explorers.

Under CNMIM's watch and support, Pakrut has been built and is now producing 50,000 ozs of Gold per year yet, the market cap is still far less than when Kryso were at the 'drilling holes in the ground with only $500k in the bank' stage.

The market was willing to value this company more back when Craig Brown was i/c as an explorer proving up the old Russian data than it is now, when it is a productive gold mine with the weight of CNMIM behind it.
This seems idiotic to me.
