I really do not believe it actually needs a lot of active buying to re-rate wanobi.

Whatever residual sellers still remain in the stock are being cagily picked up by the buyer but, he's being as subtle as he can to try and not move the price & therefore get as many as he can. With virtually no other buying opposition, he's having it all his own way most days.
Occasionally, he lets the price drift upwards in the hope it encourages some more selling & if that occur then he goes back to keeping the price pegged back again and picking up the loose.

It's been most enlightening watching the action for over 8 weeks now & dipping in myself for more from time to time .. someone is clearly amassing a pretty decent holding here.
I suspect the sub-10p stock wont last before the month end

This is being intentionally mucked about with by someone with DMA and he's constantly trying to hold this back whilst buying all the while … most of the time, he is unopposed and getting his way but, occasionally, others are messing thing up for him.

The direction of travel here is upwards, imo

now lets see what the auction brings … He's stuck in sell for 2 shares at MKT price so, it will probably Uncross at 8.55p & hey presto, he's got the price down again today:

Always struck me that it's much easier for certain parties to muck about with the prices on SETS as O trades do not influence the price reported.

They must be able to set more complex conditional buy/sell instructions on their automated trades than the ordinary retail platform offers their customers.

you and me both wanobi :-) .. if that's where the action is then & where the buyer is trying to drop the buy price towards then, I will try to get some more at that level too.
don't see why we should not ride on the back of his actions

smart game to play if you can keep the price pegged back with the odd stream of sells for 20,30,40 shares at a time, whilst picking them up (like today) in 80,000 chunks.
Presumably now. the next move here will be to flush a few more little sells out & see if he can get the Offer dropped once again

this keep happening here whereby someone buys some shares at the indicated offer price and that then seems to trigger almost immediate AT buys a few seconds later.
If the regular buyer pays less than the indicated Offer price the AT buyer does not seem to materialise but, when the price paid on the 'O' trade is the full Offer then the AT buyer follows on seconds later.

Anyway, I presume there is some sort of automated / mathematical formula they are working to.

I would not be at all surprised if it is same party sacrificing some small quantity of his shares by selling these at the Bid Price and then hitting the Offer with much higher volume as/when he sees the Offer drop and other traders taking the stock

and another 80k buy, printed an hour late.
That's over £16k in Buys today
All being done very cannily so as to try and not move the price .. albeit the Offer has moved up quite considerably.

The pattern continues of small parcel AT Trades seeming to suppress the price but, much larger AT trades buying the dips, as/when the Offer falls.

At some point the loose stock at these levels is going to completely run out

Me too. I was 10 and watched it on a Black and White valve -driven box which took a minute to warm up! Hungary next in October.Game of two half's....Italy deserved to win.Southgate knew he had to change things but left it too late.The millions of "lost souls" turned out to be the England supporters here....Better luck next time....but not in my life time I think.

:-) I thought so, but the force is strong, so had to check eke :-) :-)

as for the football, I was around for 66 and have been disappointed so, so, so many times since I too really really really hope this time it will be the Italians who are disappointed :-) :-)

no offence Italy, you are a great nation and great people,,, very nice food & wine to die for :-) LOL,,,, but you have already won 4 world cups I believe :-) :-)

Nothing bad Wan. Its just a phrase from Star Wars I use for any noticable change in a trend. You could also use it with Englands current improvement in Football.I just hope the "million souls", Alec Guinness refers too are not disappointed English fans should they get beaten by the Italians today.lol
