17/7/2009 10:17 | Excellent were off...up 0.25p. That should attract more attention and could be a signal that the 194,000 sell was the last of the overhang left by utilico. If so, if theres more buying this could move sharply ahead as Ive said before these are very tightly held. Chart looks excellent too. | campomar2
17/7/2009 10:00 | Directors buying is always a good sign. Not a massive amount, but still shows confidence. | robandkerry

17/7/2009 08:29 | For an investor, those are the situations to seek out, if the perceived risk of a nervous nelly is unfounded. Fundamentals will out in the long term. Our major shareholder aims to get rich not by earning inflated salaries, lieing to investors and continually diluting shareholders to maintain his remuneration; rather he has forfeited a substantial dividend in the past to invest in additional capacity. On the surface, his interests are fully aligned with ours. That's often not the case. | tim00
17/7/2009 08:23 | i've learnt 1 or 2 expensive lessons over the years ... and if you buy 10 different stocks then i have the opportinity to learn 10 less expensive lessons... i've moved from 1 or 2 stocks to a more scientific approach trying to balance my risk so diversified by sector and country and not just name - however my issue is that if you invest in a chinese, greenlandish, nigerian company in the uk exchanges you're exposed to nervous nelly uk small cap investor and that volatile sentiment is the main risk. | moreforus
17/7/2009 08:16 | Tim00, Yes, I agree CBI ticks all the boxes.... shame I didnt put more aside for it, but on the other hand I had far much too much in one share (rift) and have also diversified. | drh3

17/7/2009 08:08 | on the radar risk....always looking to diversify by name, sector, country... | moreforus
17/7/2009 08:07 | Yes, DRH3, I had a very large holding (for me) in Rift, I have now diversified a little. CBI ticks all my boxes as an investor. I recommended it on the Rift thread. | tim00
17/7/2009 08:06 | Yes just going to make that point, you can buy them at the moment at 6.225p. Bargain. | campomar2
17/7/2009 08:04 | It might be bleedin' obvious, but the 6.23s are buys. | zangdook
