17/7/2009 07:41 | all stocks are speculative but director buy will bring i new buyers... | moreforus

17/7/2009 07:36 | I haven't posted before, but I am building up a significant holding here. (Other Chinese stocks to consider are HAIK and WCC.) Yesterday's purchase by the FD might only be 70,000 shares, but it is a significant number for her! If I remember correctly, the Annual Report says her annual remuneration is a mere £30,000 or less, which is less than the UK non-execs get! Her previous buys were in the low 20s, so she has invested a total of about 1.5 years' gross salary in shares in the company. For a fairly low paid employee, that is a significant commitment. HAIK is booming at the moment because of the buoyant Chinese economy and record profits by a major competitor. I see no reason why CBI should not benefit similarly in due course. This is increasingly NOT a speculative gamble. | tim00
17/7/2009 07:28 | Director has bought more, see RNS this morning. Although only 70,000 more shares its a sign that I always look for, it always adds confidence. | campomar2
16/7/2009 21:22 | Q,my buys were last week | mikeja
16/7/2009 18:31 | Suspect they still have about 3% to go. Pure guess work though, and they may well not want to sell those. These are and always have been a terrific long term bet. If you want them to double over night you will be disappointed. But look back in a years time and you'll be thinking how on earth did the market value those shares at 6p. | campomar2
16/7/2009 15:53 | mike, we do do not whether they have sold the whole lot or just gone below the 3% notifiable interest. | jailbird
16/7/2009 15:50 | Utilico only announced drop below 3% so there cld be another 1m or so around | mikeja
16/7/2009 15:46 | Bt them mainly at 5 | mikeja
16/7/2009 15:42 | Im sure if he bought 1 million it would be up about 50% | robandkerry
16/7/2009 15:41 | mike, you bought 1 million and we just dropped a little...! a few left still in open mkt i think | jailbird
16/7/2009 15:38 | Picked up 1m for self and friends | mikeja
15/7/2009 23:31 | yes, as long as we hold our share tightly.... sooner or later, we shall benefit from it | qipincha
15/7/2009 19:27 | who bought the shares then? come on own up Campomar2 ;-) | risk1
15/7/2009 10:08 | slow and steady wins the race :) | duncancosgrove
14/7/2009 20:07 | Thats intriguing. Thats a lot of shares they have got rid of; question is who has picked them up. Much more importantly though thats confirmation that the overhang has now been cleared and any more buying is likely to result in sharp upside due to the tightly held nature of this share. | campomar2
14/7/2009 12:44 | YEAH Great news | risk1
14/7/2009 12:37 | well UEM had 3.6m on my last count, which was 8% holdings. So someone has bought these..another RNS must be due soon. | jailbird

13/7/2009 18:59 | another good solid day for cbi | risk1
12/7/2009 23:45 | I think the share price down-was mainly caused by the economic crisis-as everybody sell share in the early few months of this year. So we shall just hold and wait. | qipincha
12/7/2009 22:37 | have been reading that article again when the shares were 15p and were described as being cheap I think this is going to be an incredible investment and I like the fact this is a quiet bb and the shares are creaping up bit by bit and holding their gains I intend to buy more very soon | risk1 |
