27/5/2020 10:50 | Nicely cbeadle, had a few more myself. What other mining company with such a small market cap can boast of having a geology team from First Quantum, Lundin and Rio Tinto working in safe Cyprus looking for clean gold and copper with a main listing. | soulsauce
26/5/2020 13:14 | I just bought my first lot in my ISA | cbeadle
26/5/2020 07:56 | Cheers someuwin. | soulsauce
26/5/2020 07:52 | Chesterfield Resources PLC @ChesterfieldPlc 20m The release of the lockdown in Cyprus last week has enabled us to mobilise earthmoving equipment, seen here, to prepare sites for drilling... | someuwin
24/5/2020 09:50 | This looks quite interesting. Cyprus certainly looks Cu rich and more mining friendly than some EU areas. I can see similarities with Southern Gold ( MTRR have a stake)in South Korea, who are busy exploring old gold mines there, and similarly production ceased in the 1970s. I don’t think raising funds will be hard, it’s just the minuscule market capitalisation at the moment that conspires against them raising funds without big dilution. I am not yet a holder but could be tempted if I can free up some funds | cbeadle
24/5/2020 08:46 | Any thoughta on how future operations are to be funded? I note that cash at 31.12.18 and 31.12.19 was £1,885,726 and £748,596 respectively - that's an annual run-rate of around £1.1m, suggesting that cash at 31.12.19 will likely run out by the end of August. I would have thought that a placing might be due, particularly as the company has "a strong and supportive base of investors"? | puzzler2
23/5/2020 12:56 | And not to forget geologist Mike Parker from First Quantum where he made two major discoveries for the C$5bn company. | soulsauce
23/5/2020 12:53 | Re: CHF At £2m it's priced less than a lot of shell companies. It has a main listing (not AIM). World Class geologists. Largest license footprint in Cyprus and has already identified 30 prospects and targets. Ceo Martin French owns 4.84% But also the following significant shareholders... Claudio Ciavarella 7.10% Fahad Al Tamimi 3.77% Leo Berezan 6,87% Glenn Olnick 3.35% Al Tamimi and Ciavarella are Chairman and Vice Chairman of Kerr Mines (TSX:KER) "Kerr Mines’ focus is to commence gold production of its Copperstone property in the United States. The Board seeks to create value for its shareholders by generating cash flow from existing assets and expanding the resource base via exploration or through strategic acquisitions." Fahad Al Tamimi "Mr. Al Tamimi is a Saudi-based businessman with global investment activities. Previously, he was President and CEO of SaudConsult, the largest engineering firm in Saudi Arabia responsible for many large infrastructure and construction projects in the country. He was also a 50% partner of Worley Parsons Arabia, which undertook major infrastructure projects in the oil & gas, energy and a mining project worth over $5 billion in Saudi Arabia." Berezan & Olnick appear to be businessmen with interests in various companies. ...Main point being that these well heeled guys have invested in CHF. Have contacts and experience building companies and raising money. And will not want to see their personal shareholdings in CHF being diluted. All goes to make CHF a punt well worth taking imo. | someuwin
23/5/2020 10:08 | Another of couple of great tweets to look at. | soulsauce
22/5/2020 21:34 | I missed this tweet from CHF earlier today. Good to see them namecheck Ariana, | someuwin
22/5/2020 10:54 | Indeed there is catsick and they can do it cheaply with the local drilling team. With the on-set of electric vehicle growth and demand in copper, where better to look than Cyprus. | soulsauce
22/5/2020 10:44 | Thats an excellent utube presentation, well worth watching and it does seem like there is a lot of low hanging fruit for these guys to cheaply go after ... | catsick
22/5/2020 10:20 | If the can pull some nice copper & gold rich sulphides out of the ground this could get very interesting. | soulsauce
22/5/2020 10:17 | Yep done nice moves here | bigglesbingham
22/5/2020 09:41 | Good to see. | soulsauce
22/5/2020 09:04 | Moving up with every buy now. | someuwin
21/5/2020 10:45 | A few nibbling away again this morning. | soulsauce
21/5/2020 07:38 | Thanks for posting someuwin. | soulsauce
21/5/2020 07:30 | Chesterfield Resources PLC @ChesterfieldPlc 26m We are pleased that our drill site preparation will commence today. ...Cyprus phase 2 Covid restrictions have been released this morning. Our contractors and team can now get out to site. | someuwin
20/5/2020 11:01 | Will let me buy £3k. But not £4k. | someuwin
20/5/2020 07:37 | Andy thanks I have money in a producer which goes up in small percentages whereas this has the potential to double. Good to spread your options. Are you saying Cyprus isn't an established mining area? It has a very good history of copper mining and with decent grades. I take it you don't think Ariana earning in to Venus is a good move? | soulsauce
20/5/2020 00:00 | someuwin, I'm glad you mentioned that, I was considering buying some AAU, but I think I'll wait now in case they do do as you suggest, and link up with CHF. I wouldn't see that as a great move Soul, Phoenix was a good result indeed, but the exception rather than the rule on the AIM small cap mining sector. They are in an established mining district in Idaho, with an historic copper mine, that's a million miles ahead of CHF right now. Yes, you can make money with some small cap explorers, but the producers are the place to be right now in a rising market, IMO, they're virtually all going up together, so I'm happy to go with the rising tide for now. | andy
19/5/2020 11:38 | someuwin good to hear at least you and I are on the same page. And if that doesn't happen there is money to be made here. Andy only a few weeks ago people were saying the same about Pxc and just like Chf they are not a producer either and don't think their assets are anything to write home about. There is money to be made in none producers too. | soulsauce |
