19/5/2020 11:19 | ...Not if AAU / Venus Minerals do a farm in to CHF assets. And seeing as AAU will soon be flush with $30m cash, this seems a likely scenario to me. | someuwin
19/5/2020 10:53 | soul, Ok then I'm surprised you're investing here at this time when there are so many opportunities in the production, and funded to production, gold and silver miners. Chesterfield will still be here when that run ends, and will have diluted shareholders in the meantime, as they will have to place again in the medium term, IMO. | andy
19/5/2020 10:51 | Bridlington boater? | soulsauce
19/5/2020 10:49 | soul, are you really supporting this outfit ? it has the whiff of a Bridlington bloater that washed up on the beach a while ago. | backmarker
19/5/2020 08:12 | Cheers Andy, I am aware of where this is in it's life cycle and what it takes to get to production. | soulsauce
19/5/2020 00:12 | soul, This is about as far away from being a mine as it's possible to get, it's got years of exploration ahead, then environmental permits, feasibility studies, then try and raise cash for capex, with multiple placings along the way. Gold and silver are soaring, surely its better to jump aboard producers for the immediate lift there, and then look at explorers when that run ends, rather than now? Ariana, which you mention is doing very well now, and the higher gold price goes straight to their bottom line. There aren't too many junior producers in London, Centamin springs to mind, but quite a few more in Canada and Australia. I think producers are better for now, explorers will still be there whenever this run ends, and if you've invested wisely, you should have more to invest in the explorers. | andy
18/5/2020 17:19 | Excellent day, much more in the tank I feel. | soulsauce

18/5/2020 12:04 | Very good (and highly informative) presentation... | someuwin
18/5/2020 11:51 | Not sure why, they haven't released any news of note. I wonder if they will try and place now whilst the price is buoyant? | andy
18/5/2020 11:48 | Looking good today. | someuwin
15/5/2020 16:27 | Good to see what "would be happening" and with Cyprus almost out of lockdown hopefully not to long to wait!!https://twitte | burtond1
13/5/2020 09:12 | We caught up with Exec Chairman Martin French of @ChesterfieldPlc to hear the latest news from the company as they announced that it is to resume operations in Cyprus....As a consequence, #CHF is now able to resume its fully-funded drilling programme.https://to | burtond1
07/5/2020 18:46 | Outlaw, But don't you think the place for all company news is their website? All information about a company has to be disseminated to the market so that it is available for everyone, but now here, for those without twitter, it ceases to be a level playing field. I think the FCA needs to review companies using Twitter feeds personally. | andy
07/5/2020 16:22 | I think it's probably the worst RNS I have ever seen, when has "launching a twitter account" been important? LOL, I thought the same initially... It is a RNS Reach story and I suppose at least investors can be sure it is an "official" company twitter account. Plus I think Martin was keen to sneak in the anticipation of increased news flow. Can't help but think he feels a bit hard done by the current market cap! | outlawinvestor
07/5/2020 16:01 | "Chesterfield launches corporate Twitter account" I think it's probably the worst RNS I have ever seen, when has "launching a twitter account" been important? They would be better updating their website, because not everyone has or uses Twitter, whereas its reasonable to expect people to go to the corporate website for information and official updates. That RNS looks desperate, IMO. | andy
07/5/2020 07:27 | RNS today confirms lockdown in Cyprus relaxed and company will be releasing increased newsflow via Twitter Sounds like company on the move to me | ih_679027
05/5/2020 13:36 | oliver, That was at 31st December last year, a year in which they lost* £45,000 per month! *Cashburn for running expenses and exploration costs So, five months into this year, will have seen around a third of those funds already spent, and that's before they start drilling! I wouldn't bet on them not placing soon. | andy
05/5/2020 12:48 | Accounts published today show three quarters of a million in the bank so no need at present to do a placing Most likely to negotiate a joint venture for the project Prospects look interesting and some buys today | ih_679027
29/4/2020 09:14 | oliver, Given that they have suspended drilling in Cyprus due to the covid virus, and they are fairly low on funds, what good news are you expecting out of interest? | andy
29/4/2020 08:43 | Looks like starting to move up ahead of presentation and phone in this morning Anticipating good news | ih_679027
23/4/2020 11:44 | here we go | ak62
23/4/2020 09:57 | Butond1, wow you're now promoting Chesterfield as well? ------- "recently caught up"? Don't you mean "recently paid the interview fee"? Did he tell you when the next placing is? Given the recent promotion here I think one may be along fairly soon, don't you? | andy |
