Ariana did a superb job to get into production, and as you rightly say, financing was incredibly difficult at times, and De Villiers invested his own money in some of them to move the project forward..


Can Chesterfield repeat that feat? Do they have a similar person to invest when the going gets tough?

If they get a JV with a prospective partner ie Ariana has just done one with Venus minerals in Cyprus for exactly reasons CHF have cited. So if they get a JV the fact that market cap is so low may mean sharp increase if they are successful in attracting JV. Been in Ariana for six years and raising money can be painful but these boys look as though they have some potentially cracking assets in a market which is taking off.

Well this is so early stage stuff, anyone thinking this is going up quickly may be in for a surprise.


Financing for any mining company is difficult currently, so for an early stage £2 million market cap hopeful will be incredibly difficult, and could be quite painful, for long term shareholders, IMO.


Georgian was promoted successfully for a while though, as you rightly say, before the inevitable decline....

It has been a quiet time. A few guys on Twitter think that things are happening behind the scenes. The management and the field team seem pretty clued up. If they can make things happen, we could make a killing as the current market cap only values the company at 2m.

Interesting to see the article by BMD below claiming this company is a pump and dump but I can't see how or why, the interviews with Mr French all seem professional and in the past everything I have seen written by this BMD character seems to be total spam .

Made my first investment here, primarily based on the logic and tone of the chairman's statement. With regards to AAU we will see but they have said they are interested in Cyprus venture, they have cash and expertise and plenty of synergy between two companies .

Ive bought in this am, looks way too cheap 1.8m market cap 1.2 in cash and it looks like they are doing a deal with aau if you look at the aau announcement today, shame there are so few on offer, could only get 350k before the prices moved way up ....

Looking at the bunch of junior mining players you listed above, how many are anywhere near being in production?


And if not, a "sustained commodity bull market" may not have too much effect! And you're ignoring we may be entering a global recession, so how will that effect the commodity market in your opinion?

I think the Romans took all the high grade easy stuff around the time of Christ.


The only likely mining here will be of shareholder' pockets as further dilution will be required to keep this early stage project going, IMHO.
