12/8/2013 15:48 | From Tullow's interim results announced 31st July 2013. Mauritania A four-well exploration campaign to drill new deeper stratigraphic plays in the offshore Mauritanian basin is scheduled to commence at the end of August 2013. The first well, Frégate, in the C-7 licence will be drilled by the Stena Drill Max rig. Tullow's acreage position in Mauritania was enhanced in April 2013, with the signing of a Production Sharing Contract for the shallow water C3 licence area. This acreage sits inboard of Tullow's existing acreage, providing opportunities for follow-on exploration and further new plays in the medium to long-term. This is an underexplored area of the basin and the work commitments on the block will initially involve seismic studies to identify new prospects. | mariopeter

The Moosehead-1 test a closure structure Domica of 546 km2 of Cretaceous age, mapped in 3D PSDM data. The main objective of this poco and test the potential for oil in carbonate reservoirs of Barremian age, considered equivalent to the pre-salt reservoirs of Brazil and Angola. Provision is made for generating rocks of various perduracao including generating Aptian, which is expected to be oil-generating, according to the modeling performed by HRT. The Moosehead poco-1 is located in water depth of 1727 I will be drilled to a total depth of 4,100 m planned for the semi-submersible rig Transocean Marianas (NYSE: RIG). The total estimated time for the conclusion of the operation and approximately 53 days. HRT and operator of 10 blocks in offshore Namibia, who are distributed in four exploratory Licensas. The company GALP Energia (NYSE Euronext Lisbon: GALP), with 14% interest, and a partner of HRT in piercing the first three exploratory wells of the current campaign. After the drilling of the first two wells in the Walvis Basin, we traveled to the Orange Bowl for the piercing of our third poco and thus test a giant structure, where the target reservoirs are equivalent to listing the sub-salt Santos Basin, considered analogous. Poco started this with the same optimism that led us to design these three exploratory wells, said Milton Franke, CEO of HRT. | mariopeter
