14/7/2015 13:51 | Fido Taken from that article is "Global master toy partner Spin Master will spearhead the toy range for the new series, alongside other partnerships including VTech with an ELA line, and Egmont as master publishing partner." After some googling I'm left either confused as I don't understand how this licencing business works or taken aback that CCT seems to have lost a good chunk of the licence. Back in September 2014 this was released "Jon Diver, Character’s Joint Managing Director, added: “We are delighted to have been awarded the global master toy licence for Teletubbies by DHX Brands. ” In June 2015 this was released "Spin Master Ltd., a global leader in children’s entertainment and one of the top five U.S. toy manufacturers, has been appointed by DHX Brands to distribute the highly anticipated upcoming range of Teletubbies plush, plastics and bath toys in the US, Canada, France, Germany and Benelux." Could this be a sub-licence - if it is strange that CCT not mentioned. Any clarification would be most gratefully received. | glaws2
14/7/2015 12:55 | "This deal with Rai and recent sales in the US and France underscore the considerable appetite globally for Teletubbies" | fido
14/7/2015 08:29 | Im in @ 460p. Trade showing as a sell. My kids assure me great things to come with the return of the teletubbies. | tintin82
13/7/2015 23:55 | Reference Minions stock. The answer to my email. More stock is on its way and will be available very soon. | fido
12/7/2015 11:59 | Chart shows a number of patterns. Latest is an unconfirmed Ascending Triangle, where the up or down b/o is overdue, based on averages for this pattern. High and low targets shown. Watch for a turn in the share price at the apex. | bamboo2

11/7/2015 10:35 | Thanks Fido for the helpful research and feedback | squibno1
11/7/2015 06:53 | Thanks for info on the Minions licence Fido. | glaws2
10/7/2015 13:45 | cfro, Yes that`s right and it has to be remembered that the Minions stand shoulder to shoulder with a long line of highly successful and profitable lines together with a growing global presense. Rome was not built in a day but as far as Character are concerned it is all looking very promising. | fido
10/7/2015 13:33 | Thanks fido, I guess the Uk license for the Minions is better than nothing and should still be highly profitable for the co considering how well sales are going. | cfro
10/7/2015 11:42 | Just got the email from Character. They only have the UK license for the Minions. I have asked about further supplies of stock. | fido
10/7/2015 11:23 | For those who may have missed it, this note on Character by Allenby Capital is very informative Whole thing is very useful, but Page 16 gives details of the core brand portfolio (as it was in April 15), and the difference between the 'in-house' brands and the brands they just distribute. Agree that there is great potential here. My favourite share at the moment. | mr_spock
10/7/2015 10:32 | Yeah, Scooby Doo, brings back some memories. I always fancied Daphne. :0) | cfro
10/7/2015 10:24 | SQUIBNO1, Yes, if I get a response I will ask that question but being completly sold out of stock is no bad thing if they can bring in extra shipments. Every piece of information relating to UK sales is highly positive. The point remains that if Character UK success is translated into even a fraction of what is possible on a global scale then given the reduced number of shares in issue its going to have a magnified effect on the share price | fido
10/7/2015 10:09 | Best-selling toy license in UK. Another smash hit for Character. All sold out, every item in the range! Fido - you may wish to ask, if Character do have the Minions licence, how the company are placed to meet demand seeing as all items showing 'out of stock' ! | squibno1
10/7/2015 10:05 | I noticed that also Orange1, maybe they don't stock many on the website, because I remember when I looked at their Frozen range in Tesco, they had a much larger selection in store. | interceptor2
10/7/2015 09:46 | Can't think that it brings them much money. They have a Frozen license too. But hey don't stock many products and the prices are cheap. | orange1
10/7/2015 09:31 | interceptor2, With reference to Scooby Doo, Character have the worldwide license for that one! | fido
10/7/2015 09:29 | Just had a look at the link below with the list of toy licenses, very comprehensive list and I can't spot many popular characters that haven't been covered. I noticed that they sell Scooby Doo products, which reminded me of a friends young child that was telling me how much he liked Scooby Doo, I should have asked about his friends favourite toys. But the point is that this is in France and the boy is French, which shows the international appeal for many of Character Groups products. I did mention The Clangers to the boy, always trying to drum up more business. :o) hxxp://www.character | interceptor2
10/7/2015 00:31 | As I said before, the global market for Characters products is huge, but the real excitement is a push into the Chinese market where growth could be explosive. | fido
10/7/2015 00:00 | While I await a reply to my email from Character, it is clear that for UK sales at least, the Minions are out selling everything at the moment, | fido
09/7/2015 17:34 | Glaws2, I have just emailed Character to question the extent of the minions license. I will report back if I get a reply. | fido
09/7/2015 17:26 | Is there a list of brands that CCT holds the licences for - I haven't seen these minions mentioned in any of the reports and presentations ? | glaws2
09/7/2015 17:11 | interceptor2, "Not since Frozen have we seen such phenomenal demand for licensed product,” said Nikki Samuels, licensing director at Sambro" | fido
09/7/2015 16:32 | Agreed fido, the increase in global sales is the reason I invested here, CCT are a very scalable business, what the Americans would call a "cookie cutter" | interceptor2 |
