If you bought through a discount online broker, hopeless, then buying below midprice is nearly always a clear sign of a sizeable overhang. ESPECIALLY if yours was the trade at 1p.

If you bought through a traditional broker, he may just have been able to match you with a seller of similar size.

Rosstar,

If we knew major contracts were on the way-I think we'd all buy! Down big time with this share but not going to chase it blindly !!

Anyone heard anything lately regarding progress, contracts etc ?

Nothing too damaging revealed with publication of 12 month results but positive comments from Chairman on the outlook for CUC. The suggestion in his comments is that the company should move into profit in the second half of this year although we could have done with more substance on his remarks regarding contracts gained.

Lost a lot of money in this one when suspended, called in a favor, on this one should get my money back after contract news will hold though this company is going to be profitable this year

Few sales today but price holding up - so far! Hope you are right about the contracts,TB. No details,of course but something must have persuaded the Perseys to sink their money into them and for the stakes they are playing at, you would imagine it is based on more than just a hunch!

Further tick up suggests that what you say might well be the case BUT do you have anything more positive to base your case on other than wishful thinking!!

That said, I sincerely hope you are correct!!

I don't know that for a fact but given that the latest announcement was the second notification since the restructuring, I have assumed they bought on the market. Bold gamble though.

Sorry, I thought they'd got their increased stake through the restructuring. Didn't realise they'd got it on market.

They were probably not given the opportunity at that stage where talks were between bankers and company but it is a strange move to suddenly increase your stake from 5% to 26%. Averaging down or what. As an investment strategy you have to be confident or you are looking at taking control.
