29/12/2005 19:14 | oldtown, sorry mate I am not that niave. But I try and be helpful where I can. I am just ashamed of the bias ramping I see that takes place when it is clear that things are not right. If people honestly posted up thoughtful balanced opinion then I would would probably never post to any thread but unfortunately I hardly ever see it. "Maybe i should start a thread warning people that they may buy a loosing lottery ticket" No, I do that every week for the subscribers just to remind them it is a bit of fun. | scripophilist
29/12/2005 17:48 | What I find really funny is that people think that they need warn anyone in the first place, as if the things that scrip was saying was not already in public view? Has it not ever occurred to you script that some people knew about the debt and the uncertainty but liked the gamble of massive upside in exchange for such conditions, ie a leveraged bet? I smile when i think of you sat at your computer screen thinking that everyone else is a mug punter, who knows nothing except yourself. Maybe i should start a thread warning people that they may buy a loosing lottery ticket! Then disappear for months then re-appear saying I told you so. For any holders I at any rate hope it pans out ok. | oldtown
29/12/2005 17:42 | Unfortunately my posting was more my frustration at pointing out what I see to people and then seeing people ignore my advice and / or rip into me when I am trying to help them. It's not some kind of shadenfraude. | scripophilist
29/12/2005 15:14 | Ian- As much as I want to, I cannot keep this conversation going.Too busy... Suffice to say that your first line(before writing it!)was the trigger for my skimming through most of this thread this morning, beeing struck by the accuracy of Scrip's predictions. Not knowing the guy, soon I realised there's a flaw in his character by the way he hastened to present with glee the bad news. Mind you, I've seen worse lack of ethics in this game! "Sound advice about investment" I meant to provide his expertise for hard done investors at something else, other than this stock. He may be Philoscrip, but certainly not a Philanthropist as he claims to be! | johnnypardal
29/12/2005 08:55 | johnnypardal, Scrip DID give sound advice on the other thread on 8/12/04 after publication of the results which were generally accepted as 'good', but which he pointed out were flawed. There was a fairly detailed exchange of posts at that time in which he set out his reasons and he certainly convinced me to keep my finger off the 'buuy' button. "I told you so" may not be attractive to those who will not be told, but maybe the answer is that they should listen next time! Regards, Ian | jeffian
29/12/2005 05:27 | LOL oldtown! Glad to see I spoke sense on at least one other day this year then. ;-) | stewjames
29/12/2005 03:50 | Scrip- I'm not involved in this, but it seems to me that your prime concern is to pat yourself at the back for your expert analysis at the start of this thread. If you want to help these people, as you claim, instead of repeating: "I told you so ", which is rubbing salt into their wounds, give them some sound advice about investment. BTW have you been shorting this stock, and if not, why not? | johnnypardal
27/12/2005 21:34 | Ethan, If you look back more than a couple of posts and put that comment in context you will see I was raising concerns a long time ago and recommended selling them strongly in January when I was pushed for a view. They were trading at 110p. So you have merely confirmed my view that trying to help people is a waste of time nowadays. | scripophilist
27/12/2005 15:05 | lol youve aleady said that once in support of script stew (cough). | oldtown
27/12/2005 14:54 | Seems you're right again, scrip...I don't know why you bother. | stewjames

26/12/2005 20:56 | "it quite clear that you hope they go bust" Complete bull I am afriad Ethan, I never wish people to lose money. Feel happy to post up your prediction. | scripophilist
26/12/2005 20:36 | Well looking back at yor posts script, i dont think most people would think that you hope it all turns out well? Indeed you have made it quite clear that you hope they go bust! so forgive me for being blunt, f@@k you! | ethan
26/12/2005 19:44 | I hope they don't for everybody involved with them. I have nothing to gain whatever happens but I didn't warn people they would likely have a problem last January. I think that justifies my 'righteous mumblings'. | scripophilist
23/12/2005 20:42 | I am off to cyprus for two weeks tomorrow, spoke to the FD and said the RNS would be out by the 2nd of Jan or their about. Think its got a 70% chance it was the bank that called its money in within three days(HSBC) with out warning, the only charge the bank has got is the stock of the company the building is leased, they have got till the begining of next year to sort it out, looks like a 50% dilution. They have got out of the ARGOS contract as well from the retail side, they are now distributors to the auto motor trade now so the business has had a complet turn around they did o the bank nearly 8m at one stage and got it down to 3.5m so why they pulled the plug a don't know but all will be revealed next year. Wil buy more at 10p and average down this could be a multi bagger next year. | thinkbig?
23/12/2005 18:42 | Agreed......reality is administration.....h | alexacj
23/12/2005 18:17 | If it is a debt for equity swap then your holding will be pretty worthless as a result so I'd prepare yourself for the worse and if any upside appears then great! | scripophilist
23/12/2005 17:47 | ThinkBig if they do manage to begin trading again I would agree with your thoughts on rights at 10p per share.....however I'm not holding my breath....but if they do pull it off it isn't necessarily bad news re share price as this should have removed the funding uncertainties that were keeping the share price down......however I certainly wouldn't expect a rise & it will also depend upon the reasons for suspension and current trading conditions!!!Let's see what happens....odds still against relisting imho! | alexacj
23/12/2005 16:56 | Could be coming back after the holidays at 10p a share. To raise 3.5m pounds, bank will take 2m and the rest for working capital. BIG DILUTION THOUGH | thinkbig?
21/12/2005 12:24 | Cgod does not know.....and until an RNS neither do the rest of us!It may be an early xmas present but more likely to be the goose that's cooked....I would prefer the former but I fear it's more likely to be the latter! | alexacj
21/12/2005 12:11 | How do you know? | thinkbig? |
