17/2/2006 09:10 | Not great to say the least, trades going through that are not being shown. BTW. What cheese do you all want with your whine! ;-) You can buy now at .650 if you want to get in near the placing price! not appealing i know but someone is stumping up 2.5 million in cash at that price. I have taken a few 100,000 at .650. Bottom drawer job me thinks . | oldtown
17/2/2006 09:04 | was anyone able to short this before demise? If so, the new shares don't actually come in issue until 14 March so there may be a rally as larger shorters close positions. Also because the placement is at 0.5p effectively there will be 98% of stock closely held - so definately one to watch for surges | dusseldorf
17/2/2006 08:43 | oh dear where from here | joyridder
17/2/2006 08:39 | Dell, I only said that because a few weeks ago they had gone bust and I popped in here to tell you guys. I thought it respectful to pop back, a little is better then gone. Just stick the shares in a drawer and forget them as you never know you might get some money back in time. All the best. KO. | kickoff3pm
17/2/2006 08:24 | It looks like the MMs have just acquired some shares, they are now all at 100k on the offer bid. Don't forget the NMS is still 10k, so 60k and above will be delayed. | cheltspy
17/2/2006 08:16 | I'm not surprised that there is hardly any trading. Nobody wants to take such a loss before the resolutions are passed, and even with no spread, we'd have to pay twice as much per share as the directors have just paid. Can't see how this could possibly have been in shareholders best interests. | speedieruk
17/2/2006 08:14 | Interesting EVO attempted to narrow the spread and locked the price. | cheltspy
17/2/2006 08:09 | The annoying thing is that the directors seem to be on a profit already at this price if I've read it correctly | speedieruk
17/2/2006 08:05 | I suppose that they will have enough voting power to get all the resolutions passed. | speedieruk
17/2/2006 08:04 | regrettably this is not the first time and probably wont be the last | gagner2006
17/2/2006 08:00 | What was the point in saving the company might as well go bust a bought it off the recivers for a £1 one for the toilet as they have shafted us investors 5000,000 shares wow their will be a world war befoer this gets any were near 20p | thinkbig?
17/2/2006 07:55 | it does seem somewhat absurd. | gagner2006
17/2/2006 07:51 | might as well have gone bust for us sharehoders | thinkbig?
17/2/2006 07:34 | kickoff - have you actually read the detail? Existing shareholders have been near enough wiped out..... Still it's nice to see that Charles Stanley reckon the deal is in the best interests of shareholders and then take their nice fat fees in 0.5p placing shares......... Disgusting. All IMHO, DYOR etc. Rgds dell | dell314
17/2/2006 07:24 | Really glad to see they saved the company for you folks. All the best. KO. | kickoff3pm
14/2/2006 10:40 | Just found out from my broker that EGM and placing letters will be out on Friday. | cgod
13/2/2006 11:45 | Any news out on EGM and letters to share holders yet? | cgod
13/2/2006 10:59 | Scripo - thanks. | sprattyken
09/2/2006 21:32 | Spratty, Even if you hold shares in a nominee account you can still get AR's and invited to the EGM. Simply phone up the registrar or write to them and they will put you on the list. They rarely check your details anyhow, but this will get your on the mailing list. | scripophilist
09/2/2006 19:44 | If there are any direct shareholders here can you post details of the EGM please?. I use an on-line broker so won't get the info. Would be much appreciated - any views on the dilution? I reckon we'll be lucky at 5p? | sprattyken
07/2/2006 10:56 | Don't worry about me I am just fine. I follow all companies good and bad, it's the only way to spot things in the future. | scripophilist
07/2/2006 10:07 | I would guess you're correct Scrip.....but as the small shareholders are not the people who are digging in their pockets for the millions required to re-finance the company they can't complain too much.....as Oldtown says.....they have gone from being potentially worthless to worth something.....in the end whatever the price they have "struck" the deal at, the company will need to perform for those investors (and us) to reap any benefits in potential share price improvement! In effect the company should now have net cash after the re-financing,and will have had to "sell" it's prospects to the institutions and the banks....who seem to have "bought" the potential.Let's see where we go from here.....! edit....I can see that you most certainly don't like this business from your posting history.......if I were you I would concentrate on those company's that you do like, but thats just me!........either that or short CUC when it re lists!.....good luck with your investments. | alexacj
07/2/2006 10:03 | Better than nothing for sure, lets hope they make better use of this money. I still don't like the business at all. I think its uncompetitive in a crowded part of the market. | scripophilist
07/2/2006 09:54 | Agreed scrip! but a little of something is better than a whole lot of nothing as my old nan use to say. Most people had written their investment off in CUC so to some anything is a bonus ;-) | oldtown |
