10/10/2017 17:17 | Not up to you big boys standard but bought 10,000 shares today. What's not to like? I'm a long term income man. Can't go wrong at these levels. | 1fox1
10/10/2017 13:51 | Easy to re-enter! | bookbroker
10/10/2017 13:50 | ny one selling these at this level is daft soon be back above200p by xmas looking at 220p | portside1
10/10/2017 13:45 | I’ve sold on the basis of not really having a clue where this will go from here, the price cap seems unquantifiable at the current time, risen most likely on dividend hunters today and tomorrow, wait and watch from side! | bookbroker
10/10/2017 13:00 | @kiwi this is a value play, any cap wouldn't be put in force for at least a year and probably delayed to use as a manifesto promise in 2019. Fundamentals are sound, oversold for reasons not immediately obvious | rathean
10/10/2017 11:53 | Could potentially get into mid 180s on this push. | losses
10/10/2017 11:45 | Are all 14 million customers U.K. Based? | losses
10/10/2017 11:32 | Come on you can do better sums than that surely? You are way off. | justiceforthemany
10/10/2017 11:08 | Looked at this as a value play but: Price cap - expected to save around 7 out of 10 customers £100 a year. CNA - 7/10 of 14 million customers = 9.6 million all saving 100 GBPounds = 960 million straight off the bottom line. That's 80% of their 2017 forecast pre-tax gone! Leaves forecast EPS of 3 to 4p OK. That's worst case so, assuming further cost cutting and pruning, and perhaps a shake up in the market they will do well to make anything over 7p EPS in the next couple of years IMO. | kiwi2007
10/10/2017 10:56 | another significant purchase by the Chairman. Not only are they risking their own money but they are sending a strong signal to the market. | careful
10/10/2017 10:35 | Must be looking good if CEO and chairman buying at these trashed out levels. | losses
10/10/2017 10:28 | On the UK energy market the renewable leveys have a huge impact on prices. I'm not against renewables, however it seems in this country we cannot have a grown up debate on the factors that determine a domestic fuel bill. | essentialinvestor
10/10/2017 10:25 | In terms of the TSCO comparison, I've made that reference previously, as the only way forward for CNA is aggressive operational cost cutting. | essentialinvestor
10/10/2017 10:22 | I recall Lord Stokes making a significant share purchase shortly before BLM went belly up! Still, I dipped a toe in CNA yesterday at 175 intending to buy more xd, but the anticipated fall hasn't happened. | db125
10/10/2017 09:52 | Be nice if they could have a run this week as well as going xd. | nortic 007
10/10/2017 09:50 | CEO and Chairman buys sending a reassuring sign to the market imo | susiebe
10/10/2017 09:04 | Now the Chairman has bought £100k of shares -well done boys. Suet | suetballs
10/10/2017 08:28 | Shell or BP just buy this outfit... | diku
10/10/2017 08:26 | He is still getting an interim div and 3.44% at 174p if dividend halved to 6p upstream prices under pressure downstream prices under pressure Operating cashflow? I usually find the guys with braces find the bottom before me So just looking with morbid curiosity | muffinhead
10/10/2017 08:22 | CEO's of FTSE companies are all rich guys...But how many free shares has he got that can off set...porty will be able to answer that!... | diku
10/10/2017 08:13 | I'd be surprised if they halfed the divi after the CEO has just bought 100k shares. | gaffer73 |
