This is starting to feel like a utility share. It's more undervalued than when it was a quid last year. Can't see a bid happening, too small for the majors and the Kazakh factor seems to put people off, as with Kaz min.

Think a bigger impact will be a Chilean LW government. That will put the cat amongst the pigeons. That aside there are so many factors influencing CU price. I'm expecting CU to start rising again next week, as the China effect starts to dissipate

I know strikes are threatened every year but I suspect the employees feel they have the upper hand. Don't think Chile would be happy if its copper revenues were disrupted at this time. We'll have to see how this develops.

TWOC pioneers, a bit like cars in the nineties. Locks were useless and doors dead easy to open.

Hi MJ
I'll have a listen to Kismet and Stranger in Paradise cheers.
I have noticed familiar sounds in modern music. Holsts planets are often a little too closely mimicked IMO.

Was in CAML but sold out. I do far too much bouncing around.
Absolutely agree re the increasing need for the metals CAML mine.

I'm currently reading Henry Fords autobiography. The need for the right materials at he right time has always been an issue.
Oddly, over 100 years ago it was suggested that batteries should provide the power source for automobiles.

One bit that made me chuckle was that Henry Ford had the first car in Detroit and he had to chain it to lamp posts where ever he went to stop inquisitive crowds starting it up and driving it around.

I didn't know you were into CAML tlst much less Borodin, one of my favourites. If the music sounds familiar, it was borrowed in (geddit) a fifties musical called Kismet and inspired a song Stranger in Paradise. My mum played all sorts of musicals and lots of songs were ripped off from the classics. I predicted this rise in copper over a year ago, eventually being proved right with talk everywhere of infrastructure spending to support renewables and electric car charging stations.

Listen from 9.25 for a bit of a red day.
Enjoy :)

Yes check them out and agree zho, I hold in size at ATYM and it is great to see such stellar Q1 results with the rising CU price. Looks really oddly valued at around 2 X EV/EBITDA.....let's hope CAML show similar stellar results! DYOR

TMI Portfolio 2 constituent Central Asia Metals up a sparkling 31% since I featured it in January. FY'21 eps forecasts upgraded from 29 cents to 43 cents but with much of its costs fixed I'm expecting another hike shortly.

The Problems with Copper Supply

Could copper prices rally from approximately $4.50 per pound today to $15 per pound? As demand continues to increase, we focus our analysis on the supply side of the equation.

You don't get a better looking graph but maybe a move to the main market would help? Soon to be cash +ve

KB - If they are net cash +ve it would help the share price if they told the market.

PHNX is a life insurer (and is basically static today)

Presume you mean PXC

CAML will be net cash now. Is leveraged to copper price. Yet not even keeping up with copper’s current melt up! When will the UK small cap funds realise they need metals exposure? Can’t be too long, and when that happens CAML’s lack of liquidity will send the share price sky rocketing
